Being a noob the solid axle wont effect you that much. Get the basics down first and if you decide you like road racing then figure out something that handles better. Just go out there and have fun legally at triple digits.
Are those 99 dollar wheels going to be any lighter than the stock wheels? I really like your stock rims on your car but if you want to change i vote keep looking.

It doesn't look like it is the right spring, look at the top of the spring where it fits into the cup on the new and old springs. The old one fit nicely and the new one has some noticeable slop.
It is a good idea. I honestly think the average driver doesnt know that their driving habits are costing them money. I guess well see how good of an idea it really is with sales numbers.

Boost gauge is nice just to be able to see better what exactly your car is doing. It makes it easier to stay out of boost before you heat your oil up to temperature too.
