Just read in motor trend i think that the first model year will only be automatic SRT's. Next model year will get the first manuals and lesser engine models (3.5, 5.7 ect.)

He can find a used ECU for like 200-300 dollars. Forget the MBC and tell him to get on some vw forums. vwvortex would be a good start.

Ahh gotcha, were some pretty cool lookin cars. The burnout in the parking spot next to my car could have been better placed. But none the less there were some nice cars there.
