  1. Yeah, it's on Boston Mills. The one I'm talking about is really tight and quick, though. You can see all the way through it before you lean to the left, and almost as soon as you do a left lean, you've got to flick it back up to the right.
  2. Most of them are bad because the big trucks go back there. They won't fix them because they'll only get screwed up again. There is one decent one off of Rt. 14 that I'll go to if I can't make it to the valley.
  3. Talk about horrible roads...come to Ravenna. The main roads are alright, but 90% of the fun back roads are sooo bad. I found some nice twisties off of Rt 14, but when I went deeper into them, it was like having a seizure on a rollercoaster.
  4. It's nothing amazing, but it's rideable. I went pretty late last night, so I took it easy. Cold pavement creeps me out.
  5. Go into the valley like you're coming from Streetsboro off of 303. Once you get into the valley and pass the Winking Lizard, turn right onto the "byway". There's a blue sign posted that says some crap like "America's Byways lololol", or something. It's down about a mile and a half into the road.
  6. I've done nothing but hook up LEDs to the battery and lube the chain.
  7. I don't know...I guess I'm just a picky faggot. I learned how to ride on that bike. It just seems like I lost some power in it. I meant to ask you about that issue, Isaac's Papa. It's making a weird throaty noise and someone told me that it may be an EXUP issue. I'm positive it isn't in my head, because I know what it sounded like before.
  8. Haha seriously, I see bad things coming.
  9. Just got back about 10 minutes ago. Got stuck behind a cage on the perfect S-turn down there. I cried.
  10. Because I've been here long enough to figure it out from anything else.
  11. I knew you were on 4chan. Goddammit, I can't get away from you people.
  12. If anyone wants to roll. Going to chug my post-workout mix and then shoot down to the Valley to take advantage of the lack of rain. If anyone wants to come with, hit me up.
  13. I've done a few aesthetic things with my bike, now my next thing is to add something to the mechanics. I've got a few ideas, but some words of advice from the experienced guys would be sound volume. On my list, I have: K&N Racing Filter (K&N advises not using this unless your bike is "tuned for racing". Is it really that big of an issue?) Sprockets (Not sure what to do; I want more torque and sacrificing top speed doesn't bother me) Power Commander? (I was told that Power Commanders don't make much of a difference on the newer R6s?) I'm not really sure what else I could do. I'm not trying to make a straight-line warrior, but I would like to have some more acceleration. As I said, sacrificing top speed isn't an issue because I don't plan on going 150-170 mph on the road, any time soon. Any help would be great. Also, while I'm here, how far past the "wear indicator" on your tires can you generally go? I'm pretty much on the indicator, but there are still some "valleys" in the treads. They seem fine to me.
  14. I don't mind them so much when I'm on a main road...but if I get stuck behind a cage or a cruiser in the twisties, I start gnawing on the inside of my helmet. True story.
  15. Kick-ass, I'm down. I generally just take off on my own, but it's nice to have people in a group every once in awhile. Most of my friends ride cruisers, so I'm sure you know my frustration.
  16. I'm usually out just exploring by myself. Don't know anyone in the area, nor do I know the area that well. I ended up in Twinsburg after I hit the valley. Don't know how it happened, but it did.
  17. You lost me when you said that I don't need to "blip" the throttle to upshift without the clutch. Basically you're telling me that I can just pre-load the shifter as the RPMs are rising? I don't see how that would work...of course, I've never tried it.
  18. Just got done riding through the valley and saw two couples on sportbikes. Rode with them for about 5 minutes until we split off. Just trying to see if you're on OR or not.
  19. Shifting without the clutch is actually really smooth on my bike. I mean, it is a newer bike, and I haven't had much experience with other bikes. I can only really speak for myself. It almost feels like the thing runs better when I don't upshift with the clutch. I was having power issuess with it until the other day when I decided to "open it up" a little bit more than usual. I was banging through gears without the clutch all night and now it seems happier to let me ride it. feelsgoodman
  20. Yeah, I think I'll stick with the clutch from 1st to 2nd. I'm not trying to experiment on this bike.
  21. I don't lose much, if any power with pre-loading. I just sort of "snap" my wrist back and shift.
