9 Years old? $4300 would be a better starting point imo. I was looking at a 2007 CBR1000RR that sold for $5900 w. less miles.

In theory it sounds great- but I just see too many problems arising. I guess if you feel comfortable putting that much of your hard earned $$$ up like that more power to you. Hopefully your buddies are as responsible as you and it all works out.

What happens when you need a new fridge? or carpeting? or want to re-do the windows? Who pays? Who chooses which design? Sounds like a headache.... Why not just buy your own?

10mm is a waste. The FBI almost adopted that round but they didn't and they don't even use it in their firearms today. Chances are you will never shoot a person- even if you do, shot placement is where it's at. Buy a .40 if you are worried about velocity and power while still saving some $$$ on ammo.

I use it. If you don't want it- I'm sure you can unload it pretty easy! I have to laugh at guys who go out and spend 12 bucks for a bottle of syn. when a $3 bottle will do just fine.

If I had 13K I would be looking at the BMW 1000RR (brand new) or another new bike. What was the original msrp on that thing?

also check your radiator for dirt and debris between the fins- it also could be blocked. are your fans working correctly?

wa wa water pump? Remove the thermo entirely and see if it still stays high. 200 is O.K. 220 is another story.
