Man I love you guys. I purposefully left out the part where I had already pulled a guy out of a ditch, and all of this occurred on my 24th birthday. Ya know, to avoid looking like I'm asking for sympathy from a bunch of cranky, bike addicted dicks in winter. Must not have said in the op though, that after I found out I was not covered, I signed up that day. But of course, that means I'm covered the day after. Thanks for the few words of kindness. As for the rest, I just really would like to make it clear that I am not the kind of guy to drive uninsured. (nor did I feel comfortable with the idea of "postponing" our little bump.) but I also don't feel comfortable being wrung out, when I've always been one to try to help people. I guess it all comes down to perspective. Hers is that I'm a lowlife trying to get by with the least amount of work possible. Shit happens. Ease up on the hate, though. I know it's just OR, but dam. Just sharing a story. Next time something weird or otherwise notable happens, I won't be thinking about posting on "my forum".

If all goes as planned, we'll be in Arizona by summer. The low in Phoenix tonight is 54. :-)

I made no statement that I wasn't going to pay. Calm your tits. I'm just pissed at the whole thing. Can't be mad at the wife, but man of only I would have actually read the insurance bill...

So, here's an unfortunate story. I have had an sr-22 insurance policy for a few years, since I did some stupid shit as a teenager. 8 actually. Anywho, I got married last year, and I've had a pretty clean record for a bit, so we put me on my wife's insurance. February 14th rolls around and we get snowed on. I'm usually a pretty good driver in the snow. Well, I was stopping, and slid, and barely bumped into the lady in front of me. Seriously. Barely. I couldn't find the dent. In her Honda Odyssey... Then she pointed out a little black spot smaller than a dime. And that her little plastic grip piece on top of the bumper had a bend crease in it. I'm sure it's nothing. I have worse dings from salt chunks hitting my bumper. But she wants insurance. No biggie. Shit, I left my wallet at home. She gets awfully suspicious of this. Completely understandable. I say let me call you so you have my number. She agreed. I get home to some terrible news. My truck isn't covered. I had the wife put me on her insurance, but she only put me on for driving her car... Great. Clever idea from my brother, he says to get insurance now, and have her say I hit her at a later date. Definitely fraud, but it would work... The lady is much less thrilled about that idea. Now I'm a creep who definitely looks like I knew I wasn't covered, and tried to cover up. Idiot. Get a call from the ohsp, to complete an accident report. So I went. He didn't cite me, as he wasn't present at the scene. I'm pretty sure the whole situation disgusted him. So, now her insurance sent me a letter to "discuss the matter". I could fix her bumper with silver nail polish in less than 60 seconds... A new one costs 200 on eBay, and 800 from Honda. Plus shop fees... Ugh.

I actually think I encountered freezing fog the other week. Around Caesars Creek, it was just like a fog, only it caked on the truck.
-
How am I going to know you guys? Is there an orgy role call?
-
Coolio. Aside, we're literally watching big bang right now.
-
Even better. I'm hoping to learn a lot there. Hope we can all meet up. I haven't met most of you guys yet.
-
Coolio. I'll buddy up with you then. Lol I'll probably be as slow as the 300.

Snot and hellmutt, lowcel, blue, Rusty, twisted, wow. Anyone else going on the 18th?
-
Haha, with this winter, Idk. I know I was commuting at that time but I wasn't too comfortable yet.
-
Well I'll plan for the 18th then. If I buy the gift certificate, I can call and register for a sooner one if need be? I really wanna go. Anyone got extra trailer space coming from Dayton?

I know I'm asking questions in both threads, but in my defense I simply never left the other one. After reading this, I'll post here. Why so late? I'm anxious for a track day sooner. Plus, if the stars align, I'll have left Ohio by then...
-
So... Feeling a little special here. Is this the page to buy the track day? http://www.midohio.com/Store/School-Courses/Motorcycle-Riding-Courses/Performance-Track-Riding

I went to ccm for the first time yesterday. Walked out with a hundred bucks of fluids and a smile. That is all.

Let's see how you store your bikes for the winter.

Did I not say that my ring finger got in the way? Pretty sure I did.

Courts back execution w/ new (untested) drugs - Thoughts?

I wouldn't want to have to hire an actual executioner though. My idea. Lock the guy in a bulletproof room with at least two cameras and maybe a bulletproof mirror window. Give him a gun and one bullet. Let him take as long as he wants. he'll either wait until he's really thirsty, screaming and being pathetic, then eventually give up, or he'll just man up and shoot himself in the mouth. -
I know. I vary fingers and hand. At stops mainly though I want to have the clutch completely pulled. Maybe I'm paranoid, I know it's disengaged at knuckles. Nonetheless, nothing a disc grinder and sand paper can't fix.

I've always got the knockoffs. They work fine for me. I just hate the bump at the end, that messes with my ring finger.

It's my wife's 90. I couldn't name everything in there if I tried. She texted me the list below. Oh! And big dory. She's in the quarantine right now with swim bladder disease so she basically lays sideways on the bottom. Completely alive though. The quarantine is a 20 with copper. She manages a Jacks pets, so she frequently comes home with new arrivals... Edit official list: " have 9 chromis 4 blue damsels, 5 black oscellaris, 3 tomato clowns, 5 yellow tangs, a hepatus tang, a spanish hog, a leopard.wrasse, 3 pj cardinals, 6 electric flame.scallops, 2 cleaner shrimp, a peppermint shrimp, decorator.crab, a sea hare, a coral banded shrimp, snails and hermit crabs." Plants:" :Ok corals, octo bubble, two rose anemones, two bubble anemone, green button polyps, a toadstool, striped mushrooms, zooanthids, yellow polyps, and I think thats it. And if anyone asks, yes I know its overstocked, I have a filter that filters 300 gallons. And I do frequent water.changes"

The point of the justice system is to keep society just. Take the unjust and lock them up or kill them, so the just may be free. Our conscious is what separates is from animals. As for his execution, it doesn't matter. He is dead. That was the goal. And just to argue... The drug sedated him and numbed him! It may have looked like he was in pain, but that's just what your body does under cardiac arrest. The signals were not getting to his brain. -
Yup. I've been a design Engineer for a die casting company for about 7 months. And just as soon as I start to get comfortable, Honda finally wants me. More like, the recruiter I talked to before even graduating wants me... But Honda was my goal in the first place. I have hung out with the quality guys here, but most of their job is cmm and depth gauges. It's a transmission quality engineer position. Anyone done something like it, or have some advice?
