Would be cool to race at night, looks like fun. Here is a video from Saturday at nelson.

It's fun until the dew starts to form on the track at around 11pm to midnight lol. I think that track used the same sealant that Mid-O used. Had a pretty good highside earlier that day, which I wasn't feeling too bad during the night races, but the races the next day I started to feel a bit off... yesterday and today I can't lift a coffee cup to my mouth using my right arm. Don't want to do that again. I ended up 3rd in the race posted, 3rd in points overall. Gotta start winning - that kid in front of me weighs 70lbs wet and walks big bore bikes on the straight with his "stock" setup. He's dirt slow in the corners but really tough to pass as he will not cede the inside line even if you are right next to him wheel to wheel, he will run right into you.

Ahhh, but what if it was Antifa pretending to be white supremacists pretending to be Antifa?

You probably aren't far off. Who cares who they are if they are inciting violence, fuck 'em.

  3. if he died in a fight with the cops that would be one thing, but he was already subdued and controllable. there is no justification for him dying, no matter what led up to that point. the police are there to deal with bad situations, get them under control, and then leave the decision up to the community on how to deal with it. the police are not there to indiscriminately kill anyone who dares defy them, even when they no longer pose a threat. they are servants of the general public, they work for us, in theory. this is where the change needs to happen.

Agreed.  Police are capable of policing themselves, but if a cop "crosses the blue line" they are ostracized in their own department, so they don't.

Right, this is why a policy change needs to come from the top - likely starting with legal precedent being set on officers using excessive force.

  5. Funny these violent riots started up not long after our government started going after china about the new hong kong laws, and the social unrest going on over there. Just a thought.

You did read this right? Whether or not someone deleted the post, it's still resonating with someone of those clowns and the people on the street. Fake ceases to be fake when people begin to act on it.

This was likely done by some 4chan idiot or neo nazi trying to stir the pot. Antifa/black bloc are involved in this mess but I doubt they would be stupid enough to publicly post something like that. They are trying to keep a low profile so other people are blamed for their actions.

  7. Cops need to be held accountable, and in order for that to happen the system needs to change. I'll tell you how the system won't get changed - it's lighting every major city on fire, causing billions of dollars in damage, and ruining the lives of innocent people who probably supported the cause. But it's not the protesters going around doing all of this bullshit, it's a small group of bad actors in each area casting a long shadow over what needed to come out of this, a high profile murder conviction for excessive use of force, and resulting charges for the officers who did nothing to prevent Floyd's death. That sets precedent. That scares the shit out of the cops and makes them police themselves, eventually breaking the blue line. Who wants to be partnered with the dickhead who is beating the shit out of every random person he comes across and is in more shootings than half the precinct when you can also be charged with a crime if he really fucks up? Nobody.

These riots are just going to cause the government and law enforcement to come down even harder on everyone. The outcome of these riots will be exactly the opposite of what those trying to get justice for Floyd want, except those who just want to watch the world burn. The protesters have my full support, but the people rioting should be put away for a long time.

Ouch...I may have just been lucky but had a few fighting over it. Mods can lock this down.

Trump bux has driven the price of everything up a good bit. Had a few offers for $1100 but it involved me hanging onto the bike/driving it up to Detroit/etc etc. Took 200 less to save the aggravation.
