honestly scott..not much has changed, been focusing on drivetrain more then anything else..we did get the new springs and wheels on..ill post more pics as things progress.

we ran a "circle track " oil pan..its got some diffrent baffles in it..the classes above us run dry sump set ups

UPDATE: the 400 was junk so we went with a 355ci, steel scat crank, x-rods, hardened trickflow pushrods, 11.5:1 KB pistons, 202 dubble hump heads, stainless valves, comp valve springs, hunge comp cam..can't think of the specs of the top of my head, torker II intake, edelbrock carb, hypertech dist, jegs ceramic long tubes and some other little things here and there

I've allways loved cars, my uncle used to street race his Judge every weekend and him and my dad would spend the next week fixing what ever broke. But I didnt have a clue how to work on a car untill i blew up the motor in my saturn..we rebuilt it with some little upgrades and it was fun for a saturn..then i got my DSM and learned how to turn a wrench real quick...but theres somthing about the sound of a spooling turbo that made me fall in love..I guess you could call it a love hate relationship!!

this shit sucks..couldnt get the DSM to start..hummm go figure had to push it outta the drive way to let everyone else out..broke my a and b pilliar plastics and busted my ass in the driveway...gooooooood times!!!

However, it would be cool to see two 1Gs out there.

well i had it looked at by a friend thats a mastertech and the head gasket is what we came up with..the car runs fine with out over heating till you drive it the it blows all the coolant out of the radiator cap..but ive never worked on a subaru before so im not 100% certain..it doesnt leak anything but im not really sure of what im doing on this one..thanks again for the replies

my moms 97 outback blew a head gasket a few days ago and from what I've heard it takes special tools and what not, so I'm not gunna jump into this one. Im calling in a favor from our beloved CR sponsors. If anyone is willing to help me and and tackle this job just shoot me a PM with a ballpark est. thanks again for your help in advance.

1988 Chevy 350 TBI Motor and 700R4 Trans out of Chevy 2500 Conversion Van, only 88,000 miles on both pieces. Van was hit in the passenger side cargo doors. Only been out of vehicle 3 months and is being stored in our shop. Motor ran great when we pulled it..motor is compleate W/no acc. and trannys in great shape as well. Will sell together or seperate. $400 obo for the motor, $150 for the tranny, $500 for the combo

only thing cool about it is it changes from clear to a milky white when you add ice..not a favorite of mine tho
