I'm not really looking for a touring bike, and comfort isn't really a factor. The only thing is I occasionally passenger and am tired of the bookbag. I don't think I've seen a rc51 passenger seat though. The tl1000 is my primary choice though, I would pick a superhawk, sv, or tl1000s, but I don't like the looks of them.

im planning on picking up another bike before next season, but the debate comes down to the RC51 and the TL1000R. I know everyone says the RC51 is better, but ive always loved the TLR. What it boils down to with me isnt really "performance" as ill never push either hard enough to know, but can you fit side bags on either of them without the modding the exhaust? I also hear that the TLR is more comfortable. And does the RC51 have a passenger seat?

Yea they came off a 97 regal with a bolt pattern of 5x115. They fit fwd regals, Monte Carlos, impalas, and a few other cars. Those are ones I know of.

Yea the hids are nice, very bright which is nice being that my 65mile round trip in the country commute is dark going home. as far as short throw shifter i dont think i will mainly because its just a dd. How often is the timing belt supposed to be changed? im not super maintence guy because this is my second car(first nice one) and my buick i didnt work on it unless it was needed. however this car i would like to be on top of maintence. btw buick is going to the scrap yard, traded into the dealer for 1k. they straight up told me its going to be scrapped and take anything i want from it(cd player, good set of rims+tires, ect)
