  1. ok so i talked to one of the top engineers at goodyear, he even said its 2. he said he understands how people get it wrong because they dont know pemdas. i guess this thread shows who payed attention in class and who didnt. "my teachers taught me wrong if thats the case" no you just didnt listen.

  2. :nono:

You should ask for a refund on your tuition.

Casper what did they teach you guys in school, its not pedmas. in PEMDAS you multiply before you divide, thats where you all are screwing up.

  3. ok seriously, its not 288. ive been in school for engineering for 3.5 years and have been through several advanced math classes. According to pemdas (parenthesis, exponents, multiply, divide, add, subtract) thats the order in which you are supposed to do the math. so there for you start with whats in the parenthesis which is (9+3) which equals 12. now you have 48/2(12), a number outside of parenthesis without anything in between means that you multiply so that is 2(12) which is 24. you are left with 48/24 which is 2.

BTW to those who used a calculator, they are not always correct ask any teacher or professor. there are several operations that they are not able to do.

  4. Always intend to leave something in reserve but you never know when something comes up you haven't made an exception for. It would be next to impossible to go balls to the wall unless you travel the same road like you do a track. The reference and break markers are just too numerous to remember on the multiple roads I like to ride. Trying to remember all the things you need to go fast on a road would take the enjoyment out of it for me. Totally different experience than a track where most of the factors out of your control are eliminated and you can challenge yourself with minute changes.

I ride very differently when in a group than I do alone. I will ride much faster than I do on a group ride by myself. I am often amazed at how much time I can make up getting to a group ride when I go by myself. I don't do much commuting riding it's mostly going to a group ride or in one & I don't ride at night much at all. I find the more you can keep a group together the less that will go wrong. This means that if the curves a far enough apart you slow down to 70 or so instead of going as fast as you can between them. This keeps the guys with less seat time from feeling like they need to catch/keep up or enter a corner too fast. Corner entry seems to be the place where most less experienced riders make mistakes that snowball into accidents.

Even on a ride with your buddies/release the demons ride I will pay attention to where everyone is at so at times I check up to get a handle on things. That very thing caught me out last year when I crossed a center line checking on the rest of the guys. That to me is as bad as crashing and it still bothers me that I did it and also makes me question doing rides like that.

Group rides are "safer" because if you do go down someone is there to help. wether its someone looking back or the next rider. i remember when uncle punk went down and im glad that me and ben were there to help. Scare the crap outta my gf being her bday ride but the worse was still to come.

  5. when im alone i usually just putt at the speed limit, but i still sometimes speed up for a good turn if im in the mood. when i ride with others i adjust to their pace unless they are to crazy/fast for me like hutch, 1000rr, and JCMathis. when i ride with danballa i just cruise at 80 on the freeway with him unless he sees a hot chick or someone driving faster and follows.

  6. ok the guy looks better here, i guess that the area in the first vid was to small. i only watched like a minute of the first vid anyway so i dont know if he did anything other than that. when they put their legs over the front and wheelie, thats crazy.

  7. Did you get your house you was looking into? And you will miss not having a bike

yea we are just waiting on it to close, and i already miss having a bike but priorities first.

Tbutera- he said it not me, i can do that stuff from what i seen on a dirt bike(minus cirlce wheelies) but street bikes are too damn expensive its crazy. that guy all he did was stoppies, cirlce wheelies, and hitting the brakes to slide the back end around, nothing to impressive. Jason B all the way

  8. funjunkie i agree completely, i still flag when i see them. i also hear from people that the dont really keep their word on anything. many cases they sell a bike thats rigged and say sorry to hear when that person comes back. plus they are over priced.

im only place that has my interest from bike prices and service is independent motorsports. if i decide to get a loan for my next bike its definitly with them.

  9. my buddy has a Skyline GTT R34 with a GTR twin turbo swap(very rare) and he bought it down in florida for 40k and he has a 300zx tt that was appraised at 27k by a dealer, thats to much money for toys IMO. let alone these guys who put that much money into a car let alone buy the car itself.

If i had that much money i would live like i do now with the exception of all debts (house, school) paid off.

  10. thats what i did, and thats what made the bike do a bull riding like jump. it was my fault though because i was following my gf to close(15 feet) at night and didnt see it until it came out frm underneath her car.

  11. haha funny guy i know, if only you knew. and you never will know because your not one that i would invite over to show, there are a few people on here that i would though, but not anyone whos replied.

as far as the tommy goes, thats the only gun that hasnt been shot.
