yea we've notived, you get so into th song next thing you know your tapping the bike to the song.
-
yea im still looking to get rid of my katana, love it and its a great bike but i want something different. Im still gonna at least try to get someone to trade bikes before winter, ill just throw in the ps3 thats got 1 year warrenty left and over $1000 into.
I know im stubborn but i dont give up no matter how hopeless it is.
-
Yea i use to race mx, the fair series in particular and im not an icon by any means. I should have stuck to the woods cus thats about the only place i was fast. Execpt when to haspen acres and i dominated 250 and 450s on a crf100.
Also on the FZ6, no offense but i hate yamahas.
-
yea three cig lighter ports and a usb port, all of it was wired thru a switch. I put it on, its really not hard if you know how to splice wires. And what do you mean put better tires on it? I just put bridgestone battleaxe BT-021 tires on a few months ago.
-
thats cool, i want one now. I think JCMathis uses one ask him.
-
no its the F4I's that they think is gold, and the cheaper ones for like 2k are trashed. Question is who would trade it for a katana? I got some unique stuff on the kat though, wired a cig lighter port+ usb port with a switch on the bike then ran a radar detector thru that its pretty cool.
think the guy down the streets interested in trades???
-
i know you said no katanas when you were searching for that F4, but where the heck do you find bikes so dang cheap? i craigslist all the time, but i dont find anything like that, most people want $3500+ for an F4I
-
i know, but im saying im not new to motorcycles, but selling a katana is hard. Finding someone with a fast bike who wants to trade so their wife can learn is easier.
Unless you wanna trade your F4I
-
The katanas a good bike, but im looking for something different and new.
-
yea thats probably it, its hard for me to say what i want thru text. ive been riding for 3 years and have raced thru the ama. Im not a "noobie" to the extreme. i also want fuel injection, something that i would love to have is another 600 like a cbr or gsxr. im not looking for a power monster. it seemed like the tl1000s was about as fast as a 600 inline 4 according to youtube and specs.
-
if anyone wishes to understand better of what im trying to say, talk to me in person if you care too.
-
im not saying anymore becuase this is somthing to explain in person because NOBODY READS EVERYTHING.... they read a post and reply.
-
yea it wasnt bad, hell i rode in this crap. Destroyed my phone from the rain, but other than that it was fun. Danballa was a little girl who went home afraid of the wind.
-
id rather get a new bike, something better suited for track use. still get 45mpg, but i want something different.
-
oh, yea thats why i decided not to get it.
-
i think its stock, from what i know it is. stupid isnt it?
-
what does BTS mean? im not familiar with a lot of these meanings.
-
im ready for it, and its not just to keep up on rides, read the past few posts i put about my rpms. i ride daily and am no longer afraid of the kat, ready to move up.
-
but when i ride the kat at that rpm it feels like im running the crap out of it and dont like doing that. you also are running 75-80, 5500 is me running 65. 80mph my bikes 3000rpm from redline in 6th
-
i know mexican, lol just messing
-
lol i can spell im just typing fast
-
bad 324, i know i just want a bike that doesnt hit the top speed easy.
plus i run at 5500 rpm on the freeway, when it redlines at 11k rpm. i feel like im running the crap out of it. better top speed i would assume it would ride at less stress levels
-
see thats the thing, you think that im planning to ride super fast and stupid, but i dont. Yea thats basically the reason i want a different bike, is because im getting bored with the kat. i would like track days but as we all know the kat isnt exactly good for it.
lol as far as college goes, i dont care about spelling and stuff, im going for engineering so as long as you can spell your name they dont really care.
-
i know i dont need a big bike to ride fast, but a CBR600 will do over 150mph stock. And i bet more than 1/2 that track could beat me on a 1k, im looking to get into it, just not with a Katana.
As far as top speed i would like a bike that i dont really find it on a CSBA ride keeping up.
As far as back tracking there is a road way out in the middle of no-where, a place where a car might go by once every hour, and we have people block the roads off and if a bike is coming stop cars, but we wait if a car is going thru. We dont do what most idiots do and do 140mph around 270 columbus.
BTW i ride everyday, rain or shine. I do the speed limit 90% of the time, unless im in a group thats moving faster, so i dont ride like a jackass.
