Was looking at the planned maps and it looks like we will miss a big part of the badlands. Look at Rt SD240 that cuts through the bad lands? Looking at google street view there is some beautiful scenery on that road and would only add 45 miles to that day.

Just the start and end witness, and the "what ifs" (cant get a receipt, cant get a witness), paying the fee. Just to get a piece of paper that tells me i did something i already know I did. Dont take me the wrong way i super stoked to do this, maybe im just bummed its not time to roll yet. So mama Tonik going to be all of our start witness? And then hope the person at the first hotel will be the end witness?

Just re-read the Iron Butt web site on all the hoops we have to jump through. I'm once again debating on just enjoying the journey instead of worrying about getting the documentation.

^^^^this^^^^And just look around for OR stickers on bikes & vehicles. Spot a sticker walk up introduce yourself, it's just that easy.Some folks will be early, some later I'm shooting for around 3-4 ish myself. Will be rolling in my red Chevy Tahoe with four bikes and 3 other bubbys.

I make my boy scrape the deck after every mow and told him if he tears it up goofing around, there is a shiny new push mower in the shed with his name on it. Don't think he wants to push mow 2.2 acres.

Here is my old POS that i paid $400 and maybe put $100 into since ive had it(belts and blades), it's a 2003 and ive had it for like 8 or 9 years. It's a 21 hp twin with a 46" deck. Oh yea and that's my new hired help, i pay him in M&Ms...

a used engine will run about $2000 for these, they are not as common as the 400 and 450s

i see your point, but sometimes i read a thread then want to comment later and have to go find it. Maybe we could add a time line feature as well.

Dont know if this is in my settings or a forum default. When i go to "View New Content" then i view a thread, that thread then disapears from the "new content" when i go back to it. Would be nice to have it set up like a timeline like tapatalk has.
