Yea the hicup is the stock map, mine still has is too. On the earlier 97 models suzuki offered a optional exchange of the computer, if you didn't want the hicup you could swap it for a different map but basically all thry did was detune it so most opted not to. Then on the later 97s and up they put the detuned map in them, that's why the "truley unrestricted models" as they call them you still have the hicup. Yea its almost sickning how much I know about these bikes history..lol

In my book smooth and predidcable are unexciting...but everyone has their own taste

Not sure what im doing now, just found out the wife has saturday off and we dont get many days off together so ill see what she want to do. Definatly think camping is out but we might still make a appearance saturday.

It is love hate with this bike, I personally love it with all its inperfections. Sometimes I find myself also thinking about better handleing or smoother power but then again there is just somthing that talks me out of it. Its kinda funny somtimes when I'm running her hard and I hit that little hicup(as I call it) in the mapping and she stubbles and then bucks like a bronco I find myself chuckling and talking to it saying "ok now girl calm down, don't be doing that". It does make my heart skip a beat but sometimes I think that's part of the character I love.

Performance mods...Full Yoshi RS3(was already on it when I bought it), smart TRE, k&n filter, barnett clutch springs... that's it Comfort mods...manual fan switch, zero grav double bubble screen, throttle misester, rounded foot pegs, adjustable levers, heli bars(already on it) Upkeep mods,,,RK x-ring gold chain, driven sprockets, spielgler braided brake lines Bling/rebuild/protect mods...clear cutch cover and billet preasure plate, front led turn signals, mirrors with built in led turn signals, custom frame sliders I think that's is absolutly everything ever done to mine Mine is real jerkey under 3000 revs too, you just learn how to handle it

ok the camp ground thing sounds like a PITA for one night, so i might(big might)show up for either sat or sun race and just hope to hang with some of yall at the track

That section was beat to shit anyway, we bypassed it last time down. But lately they have the chip and sealing roads right before they repave them.

well since hers is a cruiser, i put the horns in the fork bag facing oposite directions and put holes in the ends along with the the pump and ran a relay off of the stock horn. this is the cheap set i used http://www.harborfreight.com/12-volt-super-loud-air-horn-40134.html
