Needs alternator (will run for a while with a full battery charge)

one of the tires has a slow leak.

the roof lining (which is minimal) needs replaced.

has been sitting since beginning of summer.

You have to press the clutch all the way down to start the car... It engages normally when the car is running.. (it didnt bother me, so i never fixed, also prevented people from driving it, cause they couldnt start it)

A/C does not work.. but its there. Maybe a recharge.. i never tried.

has one rust spot..

Does not have a radio.. the ghetto west side prevents me from having one..

Its not a project car.. because with a new alternator, it can be a daily driver. I use to drive it to mad river and back every week.

I do tip the artist, and here's why.. Unless that artist is the owner of the shop, chances are, whatever your paying him, he's only seeing %50 percent of it. but whatever you tip him, it would be his to keep. And most artist do appreciate it. and will tend to hook you up from then on.

I have it. Its so wide, and when you put the cradles on, they bend in at an angle. Feels like a very unsafe stand. Doesn't work for shit as a front stand either. I'd spend my money elsewhere.

I am willing to bet that all that extra plastic and sheet metal actually decreased the performance. road and track was just bitching last month about how wide the stock vette was and how it took the fun out of driving it on country roads because of the width. i would be pissed if i was riding down south and seen that behemoth the op posted coming through a turn taking up 3/4 the road... fuckn rice

Ricers to me are are the white/mexican/asian/somolian kids that primer their car, lower it, throw an exhaust and air filter (all autozone) parts and think it will out race every other car on the road..

IMO: the widebody looks nice, definately not feeling the side air dams. But for the money that's already being charged on it.. id personally just leave it stock.

Am I hearing this right, it sounds from your words here that this is your brothers first bike since he had you ride it and check it over. Yet you're on your first bike also "that you've already laid down" and need tips to look for???? How can this possibly not go bad, and why would he get a GSXR1000 for his first bike?

Its not his first bike.. he's just to short to test it., even i tiptoe on it (ok maybe not tiptoe) but its not completely flat footed, plus the seat is custom, and the cushion is gi-normous. he has a gsxr 600.. plus he wanted a second opinion, because 2g's is still 2 g's...
