  1. I still haven't had time to look into it. I'm going to go through the chain to clean and lube it up good and check if there is a frozen link. Check to see if the tension is too tight. Bubba, My description is vague because it's vague for me to replicate. It's distinct if your sitting on it. Full Yosh exhaust makes it tough to listen for anything. It doesn't do it for me when sitting idle, just when rolling slow coming into a stop. I was thinking rear rotor maybe it was warped and binding a little in the caliper. I don't think it's shock or linkage related, it's got a Ohlins that I put on about 4 years ago. I'm thinking chain might be a little on the snug side now that I read what the previous posts have said.
  2. Hmmm. Noted and I will look into that too. IIRC when I put the new tire on its got about an inch of slop at the bottom, but after riding I will double check. I'm all about starting simple first. Thanks for the suggestion aforrest4 I checked the alignment with a caliper on the rear axle thinking it maybe misaligned (when I got back from riding) but that checked out, but I will check the tension on the chain. Hopefully the weather clears up and I can see.
  3. Hey everyone, Its been forever since I've been on here and or last posted. Got too many irons in the fire. Late last year as I would be riding the TLR i would notice that when coming to a stop it would act like something was in a bind suspension ( I think) related. I looked into it briefly and never found anything and since it was so late in the year I just put it away for the winter. Fast forward to now. I put new tires on it a few weeks ago, put everything back together. A week ago I took it out for a ride (gently on the new tires) but I would notice that the binding ( I think) feeling was still there at slow speed, so I rode home and looked for anything obvious. I'm stumped, I found nothing that screamed obvious. It's got a slotted rear rotor, I'm going to take that off and replace with stocker and see if that was the issue, hopefully that will be this weekend. If that doesn't do anything, Is there any good garage mechanics or who ever that is good at diagnosing mysterious gremlins like that in the Cincinnati area. Thanks
  4. Any of the lady's on Fox easily beat the 15 yr old boy on MSNBC known as Rachel Maddow.
  5. They were getting strict with the law in this area a few years back. There was a problem of people getting their cars stolen as they were warming up. But as police started getting picky with it, people also stated that cruisers running with no occupant while they were in a store was the same thing or close to it. So the police backed off with it.
  6. Thanks for the replies everyone. Meeting a friend of mine thats going from NY to Indianapolis to pick up a Polaris Ranger. Then stopping by Iron Pony to get some new tires for our Rhino.
  7. Hey everyone in and around Columbus area. Can anyone recommend some good restaurants on the west side of Columbus, either on the west side of the 270 loop, 71N out of town, or 70E coming into town? Steak houses / sports bar type places. Can be a chain type also. Close to the highway and with good parking for a small trailer (12'). Thanks. Geoff
  8. Tracy Jones / Eddie Fingers great listening on the way home.

    new bike

Nice bike. Always liked those after I saw them at GP 2 years ago. How are they on power? Someone said a detuned CBR motor with about 115 hp, that seems low to me, but have never looked into it. I would imagine with an exhaust and DTM time it would wake up pretty nicely.
  12. True 8 00 isn't much. But its a little better than 200 yards in shooting at my area. Got a new scope for it and short of camp Perry there isn't much to go for in this area.
  13. Interesting. In that 800 yard rifle range, does a 50 cal. count in that?
  14. Hmmm those are sharp. I need to try on one before I buy, but I'm interested in the Bell's.
  15. I lost all of mine when the canoe flipped over as I was crossing the lake to go camping.
  16. If you like that, try Sam Adams Porch Rocker. Its the same "style" beer but a little less hmm lemon than the Leinenkugel.
  17. Agreed, Right now, your on the right end of the table. Your willing to trade what everyone has been craving. Hopefully, it works out for ya. May also want to try putting up a flyer at the local trap / sporting clay ranges stating what your offering.
  18. There are a vast window of Browning Citori's. What exactly are you doing with it? http://www.browning.com Get an idea of what your after first. I'd stick with Browning. I have a 625 Sporting with adjustable comb 30" barrels, and it was under $$$$. There are basic field guns, which might be around $1500 is or therebouts. Check out http://covecreekoutfitters.com/ (this is where I bought my Citori) or http://www.gunbroker.com That will give you a good idea on the market. See what fellow member 8mm Dale can do on them too.
  19. We barely know what country he was born in, let alone what branch he served in.
  20. My barrels are factory ported about 5-6" from the front of the gun.
  21. He's shooting trap, not skeet. Trap is single shot, skeet is double. Or someone set up his shotgun incorrectly. The gun appears to be a Browning O/U, but if you look at the front of the gun, the top barrel has an extended choke tube and the bottom has nothing. I doubt you'd have an extended on top and a regular style on the bottom. Plus, at least from the angle, I don't see a skeet house. He's close. He's got his cheek buried on there pretty good though. It's either he's never shot before, or the comb on the shotgun is properly adjusted. I've got an adjustable comb on my over and unders, but they feel pretty spot on with little adjustment. His front hand doesn't seem to be positioned correctly, and his complete sideways stance isn't the best for being able to turn side to side when you get doubles with skeet. Like this on my Browning 625 Sporting - the gold rings on the front are the extended choke tubes
