Fifth-Grader Reprimanded for Bringing Paper Gun to School, Mother Furious

Melody Valentin, a fifth-grader in Philadelphia, was removed from class for pulling out a paper gun in school. She said that her grandfather tore the piece of paper and she had it in her back pocket. When she went to throw it away at school, a classmate saw it and notified administrators.

According to Valentin, the teacher ridiculed her and staff members searched her in front of the class. “He yelled at me and said that I shouldn’t have brought the gun to school and I kept telling him it was a paper gun but he wouldn’t listen,” she said. Dianna Kelly, her mother, is furious with the school.

    More Stories on Gun Crackdowns:

“I’m waking up at three o’clock in the morning and my daughter’s in the bathroom crying. She said, ‘I’m having nightmares, I’m having dreams he’s chasing me down the street,” Kelly said.

Kelly is still waiting for a response from the school and has pulled her daughter out of class in the meantime.

  2. It makes him sick to watch Barrett Jackson and see what they are going for. Obviously, his was no where near the shape of those, but he kept it in pristine shape even though he raced it.

The next car he bought from GM that he had as a company car was an 87 Grand National, that he still owns. He will not get rid of that car. He shows it, and drag races it still. Fastest is a mid 10.

  3. I saw that roll across the line, and it looked very sharp under the lights.

I'd say in an old muscle car

    1970 Chevelle SS 454 LS-6.

My uncle was a GM employee in 70, and got one as a company car. He had the option to buy it, and he did. He later started to drag race it, and sold it around 1980 when his son was born.

  4. Fuck each and every one of you that think adding more checks to the system is acceptable. It's none of your damn business if grandma wants to give me grandpa's rifle & great-grandpa's shotgun. If I want to make my own gun, stay out of my private life. This is a very bad thing to have all guns accounted for on documents no matter if it is centralized or not.

How about you punish me if I act inappropriately with a firearm & offer me support if I have to use one to protect myself.

I got to give it the props it deserves.

  5. I know its prolly not a clunk, but could it be something in the motor?

F4i's (mine included) were pretty well known for having the cam chain tensioner that would have a pretty distinct rattle around 4k rpm through 6-7k. I had mine replaced under warranty, but I know of some guys that put an adjustable tensioner on. Could it be cam chain is going slack then back under tension with the quick on / off throttle?

  6. This was my favorite part.

yhst-89887447921587_2242_67652087"*** UNFORTUNATELY DUE TO THE MARXIST PIECE OF SHIT MAKE BELIEVE MESSIAH IN CHARGE AS WELL AS HIS MEDIA USEFUL IDIOT MINION DICKHEADS, THE ENTIRE SOCIETY OF LIBERTY LOVING AMERICANS ARE BEING PUNISHED FOR THE ACTIONS OF A FUCKING LUNATIC. OUR COUNTRY IS CURRENTLY UNDER ATTACK BY THE DEMENTED, TWISTED, AND DISTURBED BRAINWASHED CHILDREN OF THE HARD CORE OLD SCHOOL SOVIET BLOCK COMMUNISTS WHO HAVE INFILTRATED OUR COUNTRY AT EVERY FACET OF SOCIETY. IF YOU ARE HERE LOOKING TO PURCHASE A MAGAZINE THAT IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE, THEN YOU OBVIOUSLY UNDERSTAND THE WORDS ABOVE. AND WHEN THEY PASS UNCONSTITUTIONAL LAWS, OR IMPLEMENT UNCONSTITUTIONAL REGULATIONS, I HOPE THAT YOU REMEMBER YOUR GOD GIVEN FREEDOMS, AND REFUSE TO COMPLY WITH THIS REGIMES INTENTIONAL DESTRUCTION OF OUR ONCE GREAT COUNTRY, AND DIE IN A PILE OF SMOKING BRASS." MOLON LABE !

The PMAG is a 30-round 5.56x45 NATO (.223 Remington) AR15/M16 compatible magazine. It features an advanced impact resistant polymer construction, a pop-off Impact/Dust Cover for storage, and an easy to disassemble design with a flared floor plate for positive magazine extraction from pouches. The PMAG 30 utilizes a resilient stainless steel spring for corrosion resistance and a anti-tilt, self-lubricating follower for increased reliability.

This current revision has been updated with a new body ribbing design which allows for better compatibility with aftermarket mag couplers, a new follower which provides even smoother loading with military stripper clips, and the Impact/Dust Cover can now be snapped onto the floor plate when not in use to prevent possible loss.

  7. Unless its something of substance as far as weight they will get it if they want it. A safe is more protection than the closet, and will help slow them down.

A friend of my dads owned a rigging company, and got an Mosler safe that was 8,000 lbs and put it in his garage (not your average 2 car). He poured it up higher on a pad. He was on vacation and someone broke into his house and tried to get the safe. The thieves figured they could just tip the safe over into the back of a pickup. When the safe hit, you could see the dents in the concrete were the rearend of the truck hit, and a pool of gear oil. They never got the safe, it was found laying on its face. I guess they never realized it was 8K, or the force of 8k falling.

  8. Everything on this thread about ROW needs to be put in a flyer and handed out all over Oxford.

Truth on that one. It sucks driving around the campus. I always seem to get up there right when classes let out.

I don't like driving around up there with our flatbed and trailer with bobcat. I've had someone knock themselves off their bike when they hit the big mirror on our flatbed. Also, had someone ride right into the side of the low bobcat trailer, knocking him off and screwing up the bike. Neither my fault.

I work up there a lot, so I've got lots of stories about kids on bike / walking.

  9. Check some police stations. I know Hamilton PD puts one on quite a bit, and they even do one for women only. IIRC its like 90 bucks, and you go the their range, and they provide the ammo.

They also do tatical classes for shotguns and I think AR-15's, some of the SWAT guys teach.

  10. Most of the high performance ones do. That one I cannot tell, but hearing the chirps after the engines stall / die make me think there is.

As you ask, I will only mention 1 of the reasons for loss of control, many factors play into but this could have been avoided. The throttle motion used and release of the throttle,(power) cause weight to shift forward, physics allow stern weight and weight from cockpit loaded with passengers to continue forward motion. result is stern wants to pass bow as forward nose has become parasitic to water, exagerated from vessel taking false keel on both sides. sorry for delay but done this while in airport. Safe boating!
