Holy shite! I have read all the threads and thought wow some of these guys are really lucky! All I know is I am buying a lottery ticket at lunch... On my way north on Old River Rd this morning. 5ish. A monster jumps out and runs across the road in front of me. Damn it was close. I could see the details in his rack... Oh my! Monster 12ish I counted 6 really well on the side toward me. Could not make the other side out all that well. Too busy gritting teeth and closing the eye closest to his rack bracing for impact. I just dont think the XR would have held up to a hit like that at 55. Tire review. A whole lot of skidding but no screeching out of the dual sport tires that are less than 2 months old. Can definately see a wear mark on the rear now though. kind of flattened out the center tread.

well dad, should most def lose his CCW. Without a doubt. I am surprised they did not get him with minissing a minor or at least 3 counts of child endangerment. But I was not there and it is hard to take the word of a minor. As of a reaction. F yeah I would be pissed if I had a daughter of 16, with two 16 year naked hormone enraged teens in the house with her. But, I would not handle it like that. I would just snag the boys phones, text their parents to come get them, when the parents arrive I would say we had a situation. bring them in the house and we would all sit down and have a chat... On the other hand I was one of the those 16year old boys once. I know what they were thinking about and it had nothing to do with dad at 1:30 in the afternoon with a chick in the house.

My buddy just re-deployed back over. Not sure exactly where he was headed (he was suppossed to be transitioning out - things change daily), all I picked up out of him this past weekend at the range was "a target of oppurtunity had been spotted back in trash-can-land" (afganland), "and this is sort of my last hoorah" I will be talking to him tonight (friday) I will see where he is at, if he is close I will have him look her up and wish her luck. He is a Mst Sgt in SF

We actually did this last year at briar on Holloween. We did a zombie, night shoot. It was a blast. We used full size steel popper targets and cardboard both. It does add a since of realism to things. I had 7 steels in front of me at 20 feet. All but two t-shirts had logo's or printing on them. I shot all of them in one shot except one. The shirt was slightly turned. I was shooting for the center of the shirt and was missing the popper plate. Put 8 rounds in it before I realized where I was hitting it at. basically put 8 45 rounds into the poppers lung area at 20 feet. then one in the center. Like anyone would live through that.
