  1. I'm very familiar with a the Tueller Drill.

Just because you can shoot a firearm it doesn't make you a H2H warrior and vice versa. Thats my point.

You cannot say that if someone has the ability to shoot a gun then they automatically have the ability to go h2h with someone

  2. When I see someone on a wheelchair whoop someones azz I'll be a believer. Are you saying the person in the chair is completely disabled or a broken foot kinda injury?

It's not just about beating the shit out of your opponent. It's primarily about situational awareness and improving your situation if an incident can't be avoided. Of course there is an increasing level of escalation if the threat persists, but it's not a frickin' movie where they destroy your opponent from the get go.

I agree with your last point. But you need to be able to stop the threat.

Ya can't just hit the reset button , and go.. ok let's try that again.:p

But, IMO just because someone can shoot a gun, (Hell i watched video of a guy with no arms shoot a gun with his feet)

It doesn't meant they have the physical ability to go H2H effectively to stop a threat. Especially if the attacker is escalating the attack or where it is a case of disparity of force i.e. Grandma vs 6ft 5in 300 lb crackhead

  3. That statement is complete bullshit. If you can draw, aim and fire a weapon to hit a target, you can learn enough self defense/hand-to-hand to make a difference.

So I guy in a wheelchair who knows how to shoot well can still can still kick ass h2h ? :wtf:

  4. SHEFFIELD VILLAGE, Ohio — Police said a northeast Ohio woman was stopped for speeding three times in the span of about an hour over the weekend.

Sheffield Village police Chief Larry Bliss told several news outlets that Amy Bobkovich, 38, of Lorain, was first stopped Saturday at about 11:40 p.m., going 55 mph in a 35 mph zone, and was stopped by another officer 10 minutes later for going 55 mph on the same road. He said a third officer clocked her at 51 mph in another 35 mph zone 53 minutes after the second stop.

Officers said Bobkovich was polite and cooperative and that she said she just wasn't paying attention.

Bliss says she hadn't had a traffic violation in six or seven years.

A Lorain phone listing for an Amy Bobkovich rang disconnected on Tuesday. :nono:

  7. Some people don't have the capabilities to fight h2h or the correct training.

One important thing is Situational awareness , If you are aware of whats happening around you then it is easier to prepare for or avoid trouble.

You can only use deadly force against a threat to your life or an innocents life. You cannot use deadly force to protect property.

    If anyone wants further info

    Look up disparity of force
