  1. I usually don't get into reality TV shows, to much friggin drama. What i liked about the first season was the stuff they build! they figured out a way to run an engine by burning wood and they built an electronic water filter system and a solar powered trike..lol.

plus it was good to see who who i'd pick for my post zombie apocalyptic team

  2. +1 on the FB ads, beacuse you can drill those down to your local demographic.

Look into twitter too. there are some good ways to connect with your existing local community of riders and use the medium to attract new customers/riders by amplifying the experience with relevant and engaging content and exposing the community to your brand (of course i know how some of you would "expose" yourselves:eek: )

If you do this right you could become the communities "place to go" for service, parts advice...etc and it can be effective if you pair the two FB , twitter together.

IMO ppl dont use the yellow pages anymore and usually they will visit a website and research before going into a store.

If you have any questions just let me know.

  3. the other stall:

Traveling down the interstate and needing to use the restroom,

i stopped at a rest area and headed to the restroom.

I was barely sitting down when i heard a voice from the other stall saying:

    "hi, how are you?"

i'm not the type to start a conversation in the restroom and i don't know what got into me,

    but i answered, somewhat embarrassed,

    "doin' just fine!"

    and the other person says:

"so what are you up to?"

what kind of question is that? At that point, i'm thinking this is too bizarre so i say:

"uhhh, i'm like you, just traveling!"??

At this point i am just trying to get out as fast as i can when i hear another question.

    "can i come over?"

ok, this question is just too weird for me but i figured i could just be polite and end the conversation. I tell them

"no..i'm a little busy right now!!!"

then i hear the person say nervously...

"listen, i'll have to call you back.

There's an idiot in the other stall who keeps

    answering all my questions

    :lmao:

  4. Speaking of an apocalypse have any of you guys watched the Colony?

Season 1 was in LA, California after an apocalypse. 10 people living in a compound.

Some of the stuff they came up with was amazing.

I'm watching season 2 (much better btw) and they are a in Louisiana after a viral outbreak
