Every time I have a computer go bad I forget all the sites I frequent and this one is no exception, its probably been at least three years since I was last here and I had not been able to accsess my emails for at least 2 years and when I finally got back in with the new computer I had over 18,000 emails to delete. Just happened to have a folder that had places I had been in so here I am again.

Any place in SW Ohio that rents motorcycles
junkyardjeff replied to junkyardjeff's topic in Daily Ride
I want more then a test ride,I would like to ride one all day or all weekend to see how it feels. I have fractured bones from a car wreck many years ago so I need more then a test ride to see how I will do on it. -
Changed all the fluids and aired up the tires.

The only dealer I know that rents is in Florida and might do it if I get down there in November. -
Looks like it was 2012 since I was last on here and I think that has been a couple computers ago,I have forgotten about alot on places I am on due to computer failures. I got a private message from a woman looking for a sex partner that reminded me.

Yes the crowd was down a bit and got wet on the way home.

Even though it looks like rain I am going to meet up with a few friends north of the Cincy area to go to the hill climb.

Parents today think their kids do no wrong. -
I had one of those gas stations that were made of metal back in the mid 60s and wish I had it back as they can bring a little money now.

I like the idea of the Little York tavern since I have not been there since they moved into the new location. -

I went by there a month or so and it looked deserted,I liked going there since you could drink a beer all over the property but the last time had a hard time getting served food so I quit going. -

I like the Food at Tanks but yes then parking sucks, since I end up eating at Frickers every friday night I do say not there as I need something different. -
They cant drive any better in Dayton, knowing they need to exit miles back do it at the last minute. And we have those who miss the street they are looking for but block traffic instead of going up the road a little and turning around,I can go on but we all have dealt with those here in Ohio.

I am thinking about heading to Arizona or New Mexico and live in the desert, dont care if I ever see rain or snow the rest of my life.

It looks like it would be good for short distances but no way on a long haul,it would be good for taking one in for service if you cant find someone to pick you up. I would like to had one of those when I took mine in to get the rear fender replaced after the young lady on a phone bumped me at a light,it was about 40 degrees and had no cold weather gear and very very cold and about a 20 mile ride.

I would love to upgrade to a touring but my bike is paid for and dont want another payment, should of bought one when I got the FXD but was not thinking. Looked up the trade in value on mine and its around 7100 and the one I was looking at they want 17,900 so if they only want to give me blue book value I need to come up with another 10 grand so no way right now and will keep mine.
-
Been by it many times but never stopped in,not in to the kind of bikes they have there.
-
The one I am looking at ia a 2010 with some extras but since I dont have enough cash so it all depends on how much they will give me for my 07 FXD.

While I was out running around looking at storage sheds today I stopped by the dealer since I had to use the restroom and next door where sheds were for sale and look at the new Harleys and found a used Roadglide I like so if it does not rain tomorrow after work I will take my Superglide up and see just how much they will give me in trade, the salesman said they will give me a good money for it but I am curious just how much good money it will be. About 6 months after I bought it I took it to the dealer I bought it from to get the rear fender replaced and the 09s just came out so they wanted to give me about 5 thousand less then I payed for it in trade on a new Roadglide,I am not expecting much from them but will find out and will probably need to find other stuff to sell to come up with more money before I can even think about buying another bike..

I wish I would have gotten out today,it did not look to good this morning so I went to a fleamarket and looked at storage sheds on the way home.
