  1. Don't get me wrong, I still love the Glock and don't intend this to be a bash Glock post. You can make alot of upgrades to the Glock as well, especially the trigger. But out of the box, I think the M&P is a better value and I think I like the smooth curved trigger better than the glock safe-trigger. The other thing that I like that glock cant really do as well, is by using an X-Grip I can make my sub compact have a full size grip.
  2. My vote is for the S&W M&P9C. Its a bit cheaper than a Glock, the trigger and sights are superior to Glock and with the Apex Tactical trigger upgrade it blows the glock out of the water. Not to mention, with an X-Grip and full size magazine in the gun its just like a full size gun for target shooting.

    Outbreak

That is pretty damn cool. I need one of those for the wall in the store.
  4. I like it when hes on vacation. The farther away he is from DC, the less likely he is to screw up the country even more.
  5. lol No. I did get another sweet gen 4 19 today if you need one of those since you only have a 17
  6. You can! You need to stop by the store anyways so you can pick up your magazines.
  7. Initially I wasn't sure how I would like the Urbino stock, but I just put it on my 870 as kind of a "model" for the store... and its awesome! 12.5 inch length of pull instead of the standard 14.5 inch, which means no more short strokes or blood blisters pinching fingers between the forearm and receiver. I am now an official stocking dealer from Mesa Tactical!
  8. Did you go shoot it yet? It looks good with all your new mods!
  9. He did, I think he changed his mind about getting a howa
  10. I would probably be, but it really depends on what quarter it would be in and if I could get the wife to run the store for an entire day lol. Im not ready to hire Todd yet part time.
  11. Some of my favorite MilCopp Tactical moments. Sadly, I was invited to the shoot with the bacon incident, but could not go. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88tQ4_a24SQ&feature=related
  12. Milcopp is awesome, Dave is great and really really knows his stuff.
  13. I dont know about that, we have hunted several species of game into extinction in the last 200 years. Although alot of people would be too busy killing each other for their plasma tv's and looting walmart to worry about deer.
  14. I am a dealer for this stuff called Frog Lube thats pretty cool. Its like a treatment that you do in steps. Check it out on youtube and stuff.
  15. This. I clean my glocks in the spring when I change my smoke detector batteries.
  16. I lived right on the edge of Detroit in Dearborn Heights during the 2003 black out. You want to talk about people LOSING THEIR F#@*&G MINDS? Hood rats with no electricity for more than 24 starts to get bad. Pile no electricity on top of no monthly stipend from uncle Sugar and there will be epic problems, and I suspect that will be our worse case SHTF scenario for us. Especially living as close to down town Columbus as I do. Shy of mega-quakes or asteroid impacts making a geography change necessary, I think hunkering down with a large group of friends as close to your home is the way to go.
  17. Fuck it, I'm coming to Kawi's too. I'll bring a car load of machine guns, magpul shit, a safe full of 5.56 and 9mm. Oh and a bag of doritos. Don't shoot the rusty green escort please
  18. Your post intrigues me and I'd like to subscribe to your newsletter.
  19. Glad you guys are happy with it. You were correct in that a customer of mine bought it last year from Henderson defense, then decided he needed to sell it.
  20. I think these answers are right on the money. I can only add that the .300 blackout is a specialized caliber for short range & suppressed applications. If you don't have a suppressor and dont have plans to get one, your just throwing your money away on a niche caliber. The 6.8 SPC is a superior round, cost about the same or slightly less and be alot more versatile (even at long range). The blackout shooter needs to be an accomplished reloader with the capacity and patience to load ALOT, especially if you train with your rifle. If you want to become a SHTF type person, buy an AK74 and start buying up all the 5.45x39 surplus while its still cheap. Don't buy thousands of dollars worth of add on crap like EOtechs and fancy flash lights. By alot of rounds, magazines and train with the rifle! My 2 cents.
  21. Thats disappointing, we go to the one on 5th avenue all the time. When we lived in Worthington we went to the one in polaris all the time. The first time we ever went in we sat right next to Beanie Wells and his family while they were having dinner. Love that place
  22. I dont need a mattress safe, I already sleep with several guns under the covers with me.
