Welcome, we need more Clevelanders on here
-
I would definitely make the trek to Columbus for some tires in the spring if you become a dealer, I need some bad!
-
Holy shit! Imagine this as a huge bay window in your living room, your friends come over for the big game to watch your 100" tv you claim you have but when they walk in there is no tv... Or is there?? BAM! Your bay window turns into your fucking tv!!! How awesome would that be?!?!

Too bad they are not 5x114

So is carrying as a tool and not a weapon legal?
-
Are spring assisted open knives legal in Ohio? I have been carrying one for years now but I have heard it is considered a switch blade. The knife I have is in the link below. http://www.predatorspecialops.com/products/Smith-%26-Wesson-SWAT-Assisted-Opening-Knife-Black-3080.html

A cup works better but neither are probably loud enough to be heard over the shower, just get a $30 iPod dock and keep it in the bathroom, that's what I did and it even has a remote which I put in a ziplock bag and leave in the shower lol

Same here

I call a spot in this truck
-
I'm interested in a trailer spot, not sure I would want to ride that long on a bike.
-
If your looking to spend $5-600, check out sharkskinz.com I have them on my Daytona and they are a very good fit and are carbon fiber so they are light.
-
Well I think we need to get another Triumph rider and go in on a cabin together. All other brands will be charged an extra $10 fee I just called the local cycle shop to get my bike in for a tune up and fork rebuild so I am ready for this trip!
-
My internship/co-op/apprenticeship last until 6 months after I graduate, so I have a good 2 1/2 years to find a full time spot which is awesome! Anyone near cleveland looking for IT or business internships should look at Sherwin Williams. They pay is very good for an internship.
-
I am pretty much down for this, would be interested in splitting a room with someone though, cabin preferably.
-
Not necessarily, I got the interview for the internship I am doing right now and the hiring manager actually was asking me questions about things I mentioned in my cover letter and that was at the corporate headquarters of Sherwin Williams. I do not know if everyone will look at it but at least it is there if they do.

Or use this as a guide, I am sure this will work too lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFWz0EDCOdI

Check out my resume. Its nothing fancy, in fact it could probably use some tweaks as well so feel free to give me some feedback on it guys. But it is what I have used for years and it seems to do the job. This resume was modified for a position I am applying for when ever my boss opens it up, I typically tailor my resumes slightly for each position I am applying for. The additional part at the bottom is usually what I change and is where I put relevant experience and info pertaining to the job I am applying for. I also change the objective at the top to match the job title. Most people like to just make a generic resume and use it for multiple positions but I found by doing this I can stand out a little for each job I am looking at rather than having either too much info to make sure I cover all bases or not enough info because not every thing pertains to every job and just looks cluttered. I also attached a cover letter. This is a must for any professional position in my opinion. Your resume is probably going to look very similar to 10 other people that are applying for the job. You need a brief way to tell the hiring manager who you are and to make him interested enough to bring you in for an interview where you can go further into your experience. Try to keep each to 1 page because if it is too long, they will not want to read the entire thing and really the interview is where you want to pull out the big guns and go into detail, the resume is just the ticket to get into the door.

The horseshoe is opening here in Cleveland soon.

shoot 'em in the legs, make em sit down and think about it.

The law is meant for protection only. You are not occupying the barn and in danger when the person broke in so you are supposed to leave them alone unless they come into your actual house. Now if it were the middle of the day and someone broke in while you were doing work in the barn you may get away with that. -

I was just having this conversation with a couple friends today. We saw a commercial on tv about ADT security and the ad showed 2 people coming home to a robbery in progress, when the burglar saw them he ran away. I said " you don't need ADT, you just need a gun" to which they replied saying how I would get sued if I shot someone in my house etc. I tired to explain to them how the castle doctrine works but they were insistent on saying I was wrong. 20 minutes later I gave up trying to convince them because they were chicks and it was a lost cause lol. -
another question for IT geeks - anti tracking software?
JStump replied to mello dude's topic in Dumpster
What are you doing where you don't want tracked if you don't mind me asking? And you could use a proxy to do this. -
Yes, windows runs amazing as a vm, this is basically the same reason osx runs amazing on a Mac. VMs are run on "Virtual hardware" which is tailored to work best with windows. And I see server 2008 machines bluescreen atleast once a week lol. I do work with about 400 servers though(about 70% are VMs).
-
Well let's put it this way, tests have shown that windows runs better on a Mac than on a pc. So the pc already lost the performance battle, so putting osx on a pc will not give you the same performance as if it were on a similarly equipped Mac. Reliability will be ok as long as you do not update the OS without first waiting for the go ahead from the hackintosh community to say it is stable. In the end, it really comes down to the guts of the machine. Apple makes all of their parts or has strict guidelines for how a part is to be made so they know every Mac will run osx without a hitch or if there is a hitch it is fixed quickly due to a small hardware pool they need to test fixes on. PCs on the other hand are built from thousands of different parts and windows has to accommodate this, sometimes not very well. Granted this has gotten much better with windows 7 but it is still not an OS tailored to specific hardware. Overall, it will work but just expect hiccups occasionally.
-
Osxproject86.org has pretty much all the info you need, I almost made one just for fun using this site. Just be warned that by doing this, you will not be getting 2 of the biggest benefits of the os which is stability and performance. The os is designed for specific hardware so when you start throwing stuff at it that it was never meant to run on it slows down a lot and tends to crash on occasion, but being a windows user currently you should be used to that lol. I would also recommend the virtual machine route, except I prefer vmware since I am a windows/vmware admin at work lol

Same here, I have had 2 electrics, one with the dual foil top and one with the 3 round spinning things. Both remington I believe, both would give me serious razor burn so I gave up on them and just trim with a clipper at the lowest setting so I have like a 1 day stubble at all times. I almost never clean shave anymore because I always get razor burn or feel like I am throwing money away with each stroke of a regular razor(I use the 5 blade fusion).
