This is what I thought of when I read your comment haha I stopped for gas this afternoon on the shitty part of w25th since I forgot to yesterday and had no choice. So I stuffed my gun inside my coat because I just got off work in my dress clothes with a car that was at least 20 years newer than any other car at the station. Walked into the station and the clerk saw it, got kinda nervous but I looked before going in and it didn't say anywhere it wasn't allowed. He looked at me and said "if more people like you carried in my store, I would never get robbed again!" I don't know whats so hard to understand about this concept. Who in their right mind would commit a crime KNOWING 10 people around them are carrying? No one!

I was given the choice in December '09 of getting the new "beautiful" plate or one of the last red white and blue plates since they were scrapping the left overs after the first of the year so I hurried up and plated my car the last week of December. Thought I had it made since you never HAVE to get te new plates unless you want to. Well I got a lease in march and screwed that plan since you have to use the lease companies plates >_< I'll probably pay the extra $15 to get the new plates when I have to renew my bike because I hate the stupid farm! And on another note, I saw this on a merc in the parking lot at work today and got really excited thinking you replace your plate with a euro style one because it had an ohio flag on it so I looked at the back plate and it was a regular Ohio plate but had the same numbers. Well after a little research at work I found a site you can buy these in a variety of different styles, they are not exactly legal but cool none the less. In fact, you can get pretty much any country or US state with whatever you want on it, seems kinda illegal since you can just have plates made and commit crimes and the blame would go to that person who's plate you spoofed.

Just got a 3rd email about a stick up at a hotel on campus, this is just ridiculous. What really pisses me off is instead of these incidents helping prove a case for legal carry, they will just make people even more against guns. This may sound harsh but all the people who oppose legal carry should experience what it's like to be held at gun point and have no one help them, I bet they would have a different opinion after that. I have never been in that situation and hope never to be but this is kinda scaring the crap out of me. Keeping my gun in my car is the most I can do to legally protect my self other than my pocket knife which is almost nothing.

Wow, almost none of those companies have stations anywhere near where I live. I may make a trip to vermillion one day to see what the difference a tank of pure gas is, supposedly you get like a 15%+ bump in mpg.

So I am signed up for text alerts from CSU on campus news and security, well in the past week I have gotten 2 alerts, one for a mugging and one for a robbery of the coffee shop at gun point. This has me really questioning my safety on campus as I will be going there starting in the summer. What are your opinions on illegally carrying on campus? I know there are a few LEOs on here so chime in if you see this but what would be the punishishment for carrying on campus if you use a gun to defend yourself? I just think it's bullshit to ban guns on campus when it is extremely easy for someone to bring one and kill people while the rest of us law abiding citizens are defenseless if we follow the law.
