Well I got it for $490 new which I think is pretty good since most places sell them from $540 to $570 new.

This might be the most genius thing ever if they actually use the data to fix hole and this isn't just a marketing ploy(sp?) I just busted a tire in Cleveland and they used the excuse "they didn't know there was a hole where I said and were not obligated to fix my tire". This would be proof they had warning about holes and had no reason not to fix them. $250 for a new tire and alightment!

I guess a CHL would be different but I still do not see the harm in a BOS with your name and signature on it.

I mean I just have a fear of someone committing a crime with my gun and it being traced to me. If I know the person its a different story but some stranger, who knows what they are going to do. Is there anything that would protect me from something happening? I mean just saying you sold the gun isn't going to get you off the hook in an investigation will it? I may just be over thinking this but what is the harm in getting a bill of sale just to be safe? You would do that for a car wouldn't you? What is the difference?

Take the slide off and oil it on both the inside and out side of the safety. Work the safety about 20 times or so and repeat. Do this about 3 or 4 times and it will loosen up. Mine was the same way when I first got it.

Im not considering sales tax on MY gun. I am considering sales tax on the gun FAMOU$ bought. I am eating the sales tax on mine because I dont consider that part of the price since I already paid it, but when comparing it to buying a new one I think it should be part of the cost consideration of the new gun since that can be saved when buying a used gun.

But you had to pay tax on that and mine comes with all that and more. So out the door you paid around $300 and did not get the cleaning kit, holster or extra grips. I think for a practically new gun this is a fair price.

I would do $250 without the case or cleaning kit.

Good point, Ill be up there Saturday. May just put a sign on the case of the Bersa saying for sale and walk around lol. Can you do that?
