Well obviously they were there for a reason, they didn't even talk to the kid at all! If they would have said one word to him I bet he would have shit his pants and given them reason to look in the house.

just looked out the window and saw 2 sheriffs talking to someone at the door of the kids house, lets see what happens edit: they did what they always do, talked for 2 minutes then walked away, I swear the sheriffs are not good for anything around here.

actually, half of the cars belong to the "families" living there I mentioned in the last post I edited. and no hard proof but when 30+ cars stop by there in a day, the kid walks out and hands stuff through the window in exchange for money and they leave all with in like 3 minutes they are definitely dealing. I had a couple friends who would go over there and smoke on occasion before it got to the point it is now and they have told me they definitely sell, it was just on a much smaller scale back then so it wasn't a problem.

Its not the landlord, its the housing association and its not the amount of visitors its the fact they are always blocking driveways and clogging up the street to the point people are being late to work, people will go over there and do drugs all day long and just leave there car parked mostly in the middle of the street because there are so many of them. Also at any point in time there are 2-4 "families" living there because they get kicked out and just move in with the druggies. I do not wanna sound like a hypocrite because I enjoy my fair share of herb so its not against them smoking, its the fact they are doing harder drugs all the time and attracting the worst kinds of people.

they rent, its one of the only houses in the development that is a rental.

I just got a knock on the door from the other neighbor who was robbed asking us to fill out a complaint form against the neighbor for the crazy traffic on the street from all the drug deals that are going down, she said 4 of the other neighbors already filled them out so maybe we can get them evicted cuz the whole street is fed up. It's not much but maybe it will work.

the kid stole from a cop, I dont think a sign is gonna do any good. Plus he is addicted to heroine supposedly so he will probably try anything to get his fix.

haha, he sells the shittiest weed, might as well pick grass off your lawn and smoke it cuz its better than what he has lol well I live outside of town in a development where if anything happens they send a sheriff out, not a cop. I don't know if any of you have had to deal with a sheriff but they typically act like you are not worth their time and will take upwards of 3 hours sometimes to respond to suspicious activity that is not life threatening and by then they have made off with all the stolen stuff, at least thats how it is where I live. We, and by we I mean my neighbors and I, have called them several times but you are lucky if they show up. In fact, the guy who paid the kid $100 to scope out the place used to be a cop, that is saying something when a cop doesn't even trust the sheriff to do their job. well at my age it really isn't worth getting more than liability on the bike cuz I would be paying over $1000 a year with a $500 deductible for it when the bike is only worth like $3500 normally and like $2800 rebuilt. I pay a little over $100 a year for liability.

I have had 2 sets of DDM HIDs and had no problems, I am running a set in my new Mazda right now and love them. Both sets 35 watts.

well the receipts are long gone for almost everything I own cuz I only keep them till after taxes or the return period is over on the item. The camcorder idea is good though.

oh and I only have liability on my bike cuz it is a rebuild and riders does not do comp on a rebuild, would I be able to claim that on home owners insurance if it is stolen from my house?

So 2 of my neighbors houses have been robbed in the past week or so and the general consensus of all the neighbors is that the kid who sells weed out of his house is the one doing it cuz he has been seen loading tv's and things into a van and taking them places and one of the people who was robbed paid a kid $100 to act like he wanted to buy weed from him so he could scope out his house and he saw stuff that had been stolen. They think he is addicted to crack or something so he is selling this stuff for a fix. Anyway, it has me thinking about what I should do if that ever happens to me, I have my gun loaded and under my bed just waiting for the fucker to break into my house or steal my bike but if it happens when no one is home, how do I file a claim with my insurance? Should I take pics of everything? Record serial numbers? What is important to record/take pics of? I have always thought my neighbor hood was pretty safe, I live on a cul-de-sac so I always thought someone would see this happening and stop to or call the cops but it has happened twice and no one saw anything. Any advice?

I don't understand the "it's too hot" argument, if you are hot in gear you need different gear. I have a perforated leather jacket and on 90* days I'm warm but not hot, and that's only when I'm stopped, when I'm moving the air cools me down.
