KLR probably wouldn't bump your insurance too much honestly.

Oh my.
gosh.

Tune the Sprint 1050 for higher RPM, that could be a fun motor in a 400 lb frame!

Similar results to the trip I took last weekend out to PA.
If you do something again southside I'd love to tag along!
Is that Centralia, PA?
I've been wanting to trip there ever since I got a bike!

Some what off topic.
How did the bike respond to the change in elevation?
Awesome vids.
Interested in this as well. Thinner air, less power. Was it noticeable? Does the multi have an open or closed system?
-
Nothing right now.
Put it in savings for now, the market is too risky for short-term investing.
-
If you're the dude I met on a random evening in Oregonia (giving my supermoto a shakedown-ride), this bike is sharp.
-
Did you ride or trailer the multi out there?
-
Yes, you can swap sprockets without breaking the chain.
How much slack adjustment is the question? If you have a lot of slack adjustment available, you would likely be alright. You gained some distance with a smaller front sprocket, so you only really need space for 'one' tooth on the rear.

Who cares about outrunning a car anyway?

We put a 120/70-17 on my friend's 250 rear, and it was hilariously quick to turn, almost dangerous in the wind.
I would not recommend it for anyone inexperienced. The profile is terrible (WAY too 'V' shaped) to be put on the rear of a bike.

its up from around the gauges. Might have to disconnect the battery for a few hours.
^ Its behind the gauges.
Set the bike upright, the rock it back and forth a bit, then bounce it up and down a bit. If that doesn't work, then disconnect the battery.

What are the differences between novice and intermediate? Different rules? Amount of track time?
Everyone gets the same amount of track time.
I'm pretty sure its 7 20-minute sessions, if you get through tech early enough.
In intermediate, the guys are faster, and you're allowed to pass. I believe you can pass on the outside of a corner, but you have to leave 6 feet between bikes. That may be the rule for advanced, though.

Im interested... Just gotta make sure the bike is ready by then
I kinda want to see the multi do work.

I'm going to give my friend your number. He's been thinking about selling his DR125. I don't know much about it, except it has semi-street tires, its titled/tagged and street legal.
I rode it at G&J Kartway, and it was a hoot. Its a 125cc 4-stroke, so... its not fast, (~55mph) but it may be what you're looking for.

I don't know why people take KBB and NADA as gold when it comes to vehicle pricing. Its hardly ever a true measure
If you're not sure where to start when talking an actual amount, its a number to point at. As a buyer, its always too high. As a seller (or claiming insurance) its always too low.
Condition, fair market values, and motivation on the buyer or seller's side obviously reigns king.

Nada average retail is $1995. If you've got someone offering $2100, that sounds like a good deal for you.

The awesome Kick/electric start combo. Doesn't get better.
How far from Iron Pony are you?
-
How would this thing fare with a trailer with say 3 bikes?
-
Do you coach at Mid-O on the hyper by chance?

He may have also had drugs or something on him.

The weather down here could not be better!
Going up and back on the Cherohala today!

Maybe I should make a new thread, but I-75 south SUCKS.
Avoid it from KY mile marker 59 to well past the TN border (the rock slide).
Find. An. Alternate. Route.
EDIT: DISREGARD. there was a bad traffic accident completely unrelated to the rock slide. Traffic will be just fine until Jelico.

I'm leaving for the gap early this morning. TDOT says southbound-75 has one lane open as of yesterday. I'll post here what the situation is when we get there.
thinking of going back to I-4's.

Hah! Had to laugh at this.
My Pig is either wheelie or engine brake, I know what you mean!
