  1. My thing is I'm not super familiar with routes. I don't have a GPS and after the big wreck in May I am still not fully comfortable riding like y'all did at the end of August. I had fun but at times I got motion sickness and I know you guys say not to worry about it but I feel bad holding everyone up. I like a quick pace but nothing like the easy paced ride. Also I cannot afford a ticket at all.
  2. You guys don't respect us retail bitches. Make it a Sunday for once.
  3. Let me elaborate on not getting married, after this disclaimer. I did get married. My wife has not made me sell a single thing or get rid of anything I like. She doesn't even guilt trip me when I go for all day rides on Wednesdays when she works til like 2 and I'm off all day. Prior to my current wife, I was in a 3 year relationship with this BITCH... I was mentally abused by her the entire time. I did everything for her she asked. I sold half the things I owned so I could get her what she wanted. I bought a revolver for myself and jebus oh lord, She told me to take it back to the store. Well I know a lot of it had to be with me being young and stupid and infatuated. But really, if you had to sell something to buy an engagement ring this is obviously not the girl for you. I'd highly recommend asking for it back (legally she has to in Ohio) and return it and buy another bike. Really, don't get married to her. Seriously, don't get married to someone you had to sell your bike to buy an engagement ring. DON'T FREAKING DO IT. Seriously, there is no sarcasm in this post. JUST DON'T FREAKING DO IT. Seriously, brah.. Don't do it.
  4. I made 18 an hour working on bmws, warranty paid the shop 55 an hour and customers paid 110 an hour. What a rip. I worked their for just over a year. The first 7 months with only 2 comebacks and a csi score of 100 for 7 consecutive months. When I asked for a raise (after they raised customer pay rate from 100 to 110) I was told to piss off. I was still under contract for 5 months, so the last 5 months I floated by doing the bare minimum and on the anniversary of 1 year from my start date I walked into my bosses office handed him a letter of resignation and left. Never again will I work in a dealer setting or likely in the automotive field. And it's not like I was a brake tech. I did everything from head replacements to electronics.
  5. Iirc wire taping laws do not fall into effect during a traffic stop 1. Because its in a public place 2. Cops are government employees Even if wiretapping laws did cover this, in Ohio only one person needs to know they are being recorded.
  6. I use to be. I have a focus that was/is set up for sts and was very competitive even with wrxs having 100hp more. I was somewhere around 150 hp at the wheels. I have stage 2 inlet camshaft and stage 1 exhaust from cosworth. I had a full exhaust system header, no cats cosworth exhaust. (No longer have header got pulled over way to much). I have 1.5" from and 1.75 inch lowering springs on super stiff struts and shocks. I have a cai sct3 tune. Ect ect. But now I think cages are lame after riding for the past 3 years
  7. not going anywhere. come on guys. we got concealed carry under an anti-gun governor. well kasich is anti gun too, but to afraid of what the people of ohio would do if he got rid of concealed carry or put in ANYTHING that was restrictive.
  8. Dammit. Busy season at work. No way will be able to get off They should've done Laguna, cota, and Indy and then throw in Montreal. And do it over 6 weeks. My ideal m. American motogp tour would be Indy - 8/9-11 Montreal 8/16-18 Laguna 8/30-9-1 Cota - 9/6-8 It's going to be damn hot in mid april
  9. Throttles bodies would be the same. just less of them. And the way everything is computer controlled you can just reprogram to tell the computer it's only running on a certain number of cylinders. You got me on the intake manifolds and exhaust tho.
  10. Once you have a cat you always have to have a cat. Even when you're broke and can't afford beer or cable for entertainment a 2 dollar pouch of cat nip will keep you entertained for weeks on end.
  11. Hopefully this will be the start of something good. Keeping costs low by sharing parts. ie: 1000cc = 4cyl 750cc = 3cyl 500cc = 2cyl 250cc = 1 cyl all with the ability of sharing many parts and essentially coming down to each engine only needing it's own block, head, camshafts and crankshaft.
  12. It's like a 15 minute ride downtown.... And after last year, and the Indianapolis Parking Nazi giving out tickets to bikes Friday and Saturday night... (after changing free parking from 6pm to 9pm) F that, anyway I'm not going next year, much more looking forward to F1 in Jersey
