  1. Bogs around 1,500-3,000. Higher it is usually ok. So I get to a cool downtown spot, go to show off the sound, and then it bogs out and almost stalls and I look like tool of the month. :)

I did check the fuse and that was as far as I got. I'll check for cross wiring.

I have to check the res. It doesn't seem to leak unless it's on, so good idea with the hoses!

Seems like you have some sort of TPS issue or the calibration fort the throttle in the PC is off.

  2. Not to dis Kurveygirl, but you can go to Home Depot and pick the safety pins in various sizes and spend less than the $10 even for the kit.

Yea, thats probably true... I have never priced them out there. However, I was at Harbor Freight the other day and picked up a mixed box of 49pc for $8.99. Not sure why its 49pc but oh well.

Does Home Depot carry the real small ones? I would like to used em on the fork pinch bolts. The kit did not come with anything that small.

  3. SOLD!!

    I have a Scorpion EXO-1000 Helmets size M.

The overall condition is excellent, it has never been dropped! There is the standard wear on it but is very clean. The liner is removable and washable so you can clean it to your liking.

    Helmet Features:

    -Clear main shield

    -Flip down tinted inner shield

-Cheek pump for cheek pads (like the pump shoes)

    -adjustable vents

    -DOT and SNELL M2005

    -Comes with helmet bag!

This helmet has a lot of life left in it however I found another one with some graphics I could not pass up :) The one thing I am going to miss is the inner flip down shield because you do not need to carry two with you! It also is great when hot out because it still offers some eye protection but lets your head get tons of air.

Price is $100, really do not want to ship but will if buyer pays all expenses. I am located in the northwest side of Columbus.

  4. Hit up Lowes, Home Depot, Menard's, or TSC. I have been buying as of late at Menard's because Lowe's has changed their clips for some reason...

You will want the bigger sized ones for the rear axle. Use the smallest ones for oil cap, rad cap, calipers and front axles and pinch bolts...

Cool, Ill check em out! I did a google search and found a kit at harbor freight... not sure of the quality but it seems you get a decent about of sizes.

  5. What RPM does it bog at? Does it bog in the low RPM then is ok at a higher RPM? Do you have any ignition controlers? Do you have any check lights?

For the turn sig issue... + 1 on checking the fuse. If you put Leds on and everything was in working condition then they would blink faster then normal. I would also make sure the wires are not crossed.

And for the coolent issue, how much fluid is in the res? Does your rad have a hole in it from a stone and is blowing to another part of your bike? This can happen if the leak is from the in/out hoses...

  6. Saw this at IMS but did not get to sit on/ inspect it because there was 10 people standing around it.

But I think this bike will be for someone looking to have a XR650 enduro but beable to put more road miles on it. I would imagine this is a little more stable/ comfortable then an XR.

  7. It does not run... I would make a low ball offer (low 2Ks) and see if they take it. If they let you try to get it running then maybe its worth more.

I still do no tknow what the point of buying something like that and not riding it.... If your on it whos going to steal it :)
