Also one of the reasons I picked the 300 is because I make MT look tall . Of course I don't need to touch real well at the track. I know a lot of riders race the 250s and now 300s.

The fastest it went on the straight at Putnam was 92 before I had to brake. It should hit 110, I am working on upgrades.

Its my first time at Mid Ohio so I am novice and the 300 is not as fast in the straight as the 600+ bikes. However, I am looking forward to the learning experience.

I want to see that bike We will stop by
  12. Tim, I understand, my father feels the same way. He has rode all over the US and for 40+ years. For me its the track.
  13. Touring and street are fun and adventurous, but so is track. Riding on the track will help improve your skills for touring and street.
  14. I found it satisfying and adventurous. I enjoyed learning my limits and pushing myself. It helps me improve my street riding, so when I am out on the road I know what the bike wants to do. The adventure part is learning for now for me. I get more of a rush on the track than the street. I want to try endurance racing, for now its a goal for physical fitness.
  15. Track days have so much less... no on coming traffic, no hogs or other animals, no speed limit, no trucks, no mini vans or cars, and no tolerance to bs. What they offer is a safer environment to riding with professional guidance. Track days do cost less in the beginning, then the addiction starts. For me I found love on the track, I found a way to become one with my bike. All your focus is on the bike, your position and the track. No worries about on coming traffic or animals. I found out my bike will do most of the work if I trust and respect her she will give me an adrenaline full ride.
  16. Nows your chance to leave for a bit When they screw up, wait 2 hours before fixing it?
  17. Sucks, a guy we use is also 20 per tire off bike. Look for small local shops.
  18. Go home and tell then to call you when they are finished? Go for a ride after work, you will feel better.
