Location - I vote in a southern state like NC, SC or TN.

Rode in the heat for a not so quick 11 miles, had a cross wind that made it feel like riding in a hot air blow drier...

I use warm water or Lexol cleaner and mink oil. I always condition after riding in the rain (once the leather is almost dry).

Do you have any suits (1 or 2 PC) with a 30" inseam?
