Ok gang I'm giving my first try into modifying / working on bikes. Dont mind the dirty bike! My 2007 SV1000 came with some stock cans, I removed them and did some researching into a 2 into 1 exhaust system for the SV1000. Today I purchased a D&D pipe for a GSXR 750 for my 2 into 1 idea, looking like should work with some cutting and welding. Pictures should describe what im working towards. My plan is to take it to a custom shop and have them do the cutting on the "mid-pipe" and welding my idea together. Also plan on having the bike dyno tuned by brian w/ a power commander but thats a few steps down the line. If this all goes to plan I hope to get brave and do some powder coating on the rear sets and other little items I can easily remove. If anybody has any FRIENDLY opinions or advice I sure do apperciate it!

Months of searching and finally found one out of state, the guy is airline pilot with no time to ride. Looks like I hit the jackpot..... sorta.

Took a 2007 SV1000, 8000 miles, out for a test ride and was really impressed. I like the power on demand and the feel that it could really carve up some corners. I dont know a whole lot about these bikes particularly but it sure seems like a blast to ride. The price on the bike is $2900, pass or buy? Are parts easy to get? Is it pretty easy to work on this bike? Overall is near mint condition IMO

Got my friend older friend involved to talk to both parites we came to an agreement that he knew very well that the trans needed service. It was in the craigslist ad in BOLD lettering. I still think he is a liar however. Thanks for the input!

just posting on here for some input and opinions. Sold my car to a guy on craigslist. The trans was making a wearing sound which I was told by a friend was a throwout bearing. I did a little checking with a mechanic locally and confirmed the problem even got a quote but decided to try to sell it as-is informing any buyers of the problem. Still a good running car 2 days before I sold it I drove it on a 300 mile trip NO problem. Guy called me the other day said the trans was out car could not move, whats the number of the mechanic... at this point im Calls me tonight, threatens to sue me, says I must exchange cash for car. Tells me theres some 3 day law about cars in ohio. I told him I'd return his call. I'm thinking its a scam or his son (the driver) tore it up. Told me about his wrecked gsxr etc leads me to that conclusion. So just wondering any ideas? Dont think I owe this guy the time of day the car was AS-IS and I gave unlimited time to look the car over and drive it. It drove very well.
