So I guess im considering this a total loss. Columbus Police have yet to call me about the theft/burglary, and thats exactly why I never call the police. I think 1000's of people have heard/seen the story so I can only wait to see what turns up. Day 9.

It was a no go. The guy reluctantly let him look at the VIN of what appeared to be a black 04 or 05 GSXR 600 or 750. The vins from my title and the bike in his garage did NOT match. He was pretty angry that I just showed up, but I explained to him that "hey im just looking for my bike". For all I know he could have my bike stored in another garage somewhere. I've done all I could except give up hope that maybe one day it will be back in my garage.

Alright guys I got a meeting set up today with the "suspect" at 11am, im getting ready to pack up and head out. Lets hope the fool leads me straight to my bike. I'm traveling alone so wish me luck!

I have that same exact helmet from iron pony, its the best helmet i've ever owned. super light weight, very well manufactured. It doesent have any glued on parts like icon or some of the big names. Its worth every penny. Its about $200 with an extra shield.

I emailed this guy a sting too. For all i know he is watching this forum, and if he is I have a message for him; I'm closing in on you. The police are closing in on you. Everyone is looking for that bike. This is your last chance to return my motorcycle without any charges. Its not a matter of IF i catch you... its WHEN I catch you. AND when i do im going ANCIENT BABYLON on your ass.

I'm just trying to gather some evidence to help me build a stronger case against the "suspects". I emails from a guy who says he has the same exact bike that was stolen from me. DEF worth looking into.

This is the most riders I've seen down this early in the year since I been riding, not a whole lot of time..... but jeez fellas protect your brain, its worth more than a couple hundred bucks on a helmet. At any rate; RIP.

Just got this email from another military member, not quite sure how to act on it, but i sent him an email from an account i set up that says "hey my buddy says your looking for a frame and title, i've got a few if your interested just let me know" HERE IS THE EMAIL: I totaled my bike from stunting and trying to sale parts for the bike. This guy won't leave me alone about my frame and title for my bike. Only reason you need a frame and title is for a stolen bike. This is the guy that is trying to get ahold of me Rob ***<email editted> . Good Luck Jay

Cant tell you how much this means! Just moving to columbus, I know nobody. When my bike went missing, I felt helpless. Now I feel as though the tide has turned and its only a matter of time before myself and all the great buckeye riders hunt this scum bag down. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE LOOKING AND HELPING.

Thank you for posting the link. One can only hope and remain resilient. I've contacted the news, the radio, the police, talked to all my neighbors, passed out lots of reward posters, told everyone from the teens that play basketball by my house everyday to the mail man. I've searched high and low for this bike. I cant much think of anything more to do than just go on patrol and try to set the guy up if he is dumb enough to come back for more. Hoping something comes out in the wash.....

Thank you for your support. I was hoping to meet alot of the nice guys on OR this year riding my bike. A very great group of people on here. Wouldent we all agree that majority of thieves are stupid? Could we also agree that such a felony theft could be an impulse theft such as seeing the bike and chance to steal it? I would think people that buy track bikes/ stunt bikes would know that recieving stolen property is a crime, and one with a ground off VIN #? I would be SUSPECT of that bike and stay away. Anything is possible at this point. I have no evidence or leads which makes this crime particularly hard to solve. But I do (thankfully and gratefully) have the community on my side so hopefully somebody calls it in.
