My one and only track day thus far was Puntum in Aug with Motoseries. I felt good out there as I am very comfortable on my bike. I know its feeling inside and out up to a certain pace. My biggest problem was holding a consistant line and braking points. I couldn't get enough speed thru the corners to keep it up into the next gear and on each short straight I was going up a gear then back down. Just didn't have enough track time to get that down. Hopefully next year is a different story.

Not sure why yours wouldn't tap to zoom then. I do it all the time
-
Ive been all through the settings. Do you know of a setting for that? Its driving me crazy. If i double tap, it goes back to normal tiny size.
Do you have tilt to zoom on? I'm not using that. Under settings, Motion....
-
Here is my battery use graph.
-
I will say that when I first got mine the battery was always dead. Couldn't put the thing down. And if you are using it constantly, it eats juice.
-
Oh and zooming should be the same. I double tap to zoom to fit words to the screen. Maybe something in your settings is off?
-
Hold down the Home button and hit Task Manager Screen, Select Ram, Click Clear Memory. It will close most background processes, make your phone quicker and save battery.
-
Or post the CL link......

Hell, it takes 2 seconds to meter them and you dont have to unbolt anything. If its way outga spec, and on the wet plugs, you know its a junk coil.
-
Anyone knowbif you can check the resistance on the coils to see it is dead? I know you can on a lot of cars. I figure the bike has a set range its suppose to be in. Just throwing out ideas....

They are nice chocks. I have one mounted on my motorcycle trailer. Bump for ya. LBTS & GLWS!!!!

I am going to go with it burning antifreeze because there's a head/gasket issue if it really is just spewing white smoke.
That was my original thoughts. Antifreeze burning is gonna smell sweet.

I would guess compression is fine too, but if im pulling plugs to see if they look bad, might as well check compression while I am there. Cheap and easy to do.

Pull the plugs again and see whst they look like. I would check compression while I was at it.

I think its like 14 volts on the battery terminals at 5000 rpm for my bike. The GSXR shouldnt be far off

These motors are HARD to kill!!! Wonder if there was/is coolant in it at all?
That's a good question. Easy lay over could have drained all the fluid somehow. Overheated it from low fluids and toasted the rings maybe?

This is why you don't let people use your stuff. Especially with no supervision. Sounds like your buddy owes you a engine rebuild.
Since it ran for ten sec and died, and the plugs are coated in oil, I'd lean away from blaming spark or fuel. Oil and electrodes don't really get along well.
Could have washed out the rings..
Do a compression test. If that turns out fine (Unlikely), I'd do a leakdown next.
That's my guess. If it is smoking white it is burning something extra. Oil or antifreeze. Rings or head gasket.....

How does the Antifreeze look?

Did it 5years ago two up with wife on the FZ1 with daughter & son in law on his Blackbird. Nothing scares me now. Those creek crossings are badass, water shot over my windscreen on the third one.
I debated it on the SV, but rather take the slim chance of trashing it. I'm sure I could do it, but the one wrong foot placement and my bike it tore up isnt worth it.
I did parsons branch in a chevy HHR and got passed by a honda fit..lolI got passed by a Toyota 4Runner and a Liberty. Had a Wrangler follow me all the way thru. You could tell the 2 that passed just wanted out. I was out to see stuff. Saw a black bear along there. Even caught it on the GoPro.

Just bought 2 serrated simply cuz they were out of straight.

It states course or two year minimum of being licensed. We all know that we are the biggest dangers to ourselves in that time. They probably threw new riders out of thier stats.
I missed the 2 year prior part. But our points still kinda go together. You either take the class and learn to ride better to lose the lid or have 2 years under your belt.
-
Law states that you only get to ride without a helmet if you take a course. So how many have just kept wearing the helmet cuz they are so use to it and too lazy to take a class? How many that wanna drop the helmet so took a class and learned to handle a bike? Seeing the % drop to start off doesn't surprise me. Long term will tell the real story. Eventually it will come to the point where people will just start riding without helmets cuz everyone is doing it and it is "cool"

I did that road on my Shadow Spirit 750 a few years ago by accident. Quite possibly the stupidest thing I have ever done.
It would be fun on a Dual Sport or SM. Not so much on a Sportbike or Cruiser.

Guy said he was from up around Cleveland. Said he had a few BMW bikes. Wish I could remember his name. Or at least asked if he was a member here....
CCW class in Central OH
in Dumpster

I'm planning on going to the Armed2Defend class next Sat. Have a question for you guys. The gf lives in Indiana but wants to take the class with me. Obviously training is always good, but is worth anything more to her? I think she could get her FL CCW. What if she moves to Ohio later? How long is the class good for?
