  1. Depending where you are, I had www.ryanschnitz.com tune my SV. Did an amazing job. Had it on and off the dyno 4 times for me to take it for test rides. Literally told me take it for a test ride as long as I wanted. Said he would be waiting on me to come back. Came back and he was working on his drag bike. Any guy that can tune a 6 second bike can tune my junk. $250 for a custom tune isn't bad at all.

  2. When I was in high school, I was on a rural 2 lane highway turning left into a driveway. Car behind me slowed down then pulled out to pass, T-Boning my car. State highway patrol came and ticketed both of us. Told me that since it was a passing zone, I should have check the lane was clear before turning.

  3. All depends on the cops and laws. Back in high school my friends and I all had neons on our cars. A town cop in Indiana pulled all of us over in town and started naming off all the tickets he could give for them. Even showed me the statute for green only being for EMS vehicles. I even got pulled over once for having amber running lights in my off road lights on my Jeep by an Ohio Trooper. Told me I couldn't run them cuz Ohio has a law about no more than 5 forward facing headlights. All depends on if they wanna be a prick.

  4. Just literally looked at my contract again. Only thing it says is that they can add features for a phone. Not one thing about taking them away. So if they wanna try to charge me, go for it. I'm still keeping my unlimited data, then I'll let all my friends leech off my tethering. Not that it matters. I rarely tether.

  5. They can try to take away my unlimited data. I'll fight them. I've already went round with them on the "you used over 5GB of data. We're gonna throttle your data." I called them up and let them have my mind. Guess what, no throttling. Google and see how many times they have went to court and lost that battle. I know my contract. I haven't signed a new one since AT&T acquired Centennial Wireless. Had my BB back with Centennial. Also, I don't get bills in the mail. I have paperless billing that says nothing about my contract changing. Why does everyone just turn over and let a company screw them on something they are already paying for? I'm paying for unlimited data, I'm gonna get unlimited data.

  6. .22 is plenty of power to kill. Every year, me, my bros, and my dad get Crop Damage permits for deer. Every year dad takes out his old 22 and shoots a deer. They drop just the same as getting shot with a 12 gauge. 12 gauge just leaves a blood trail. First one he shot with it, the round was stuck under the skin on the other side of the deer.

  7. I have a a plug in the rear of my bike now. Put it in last summer at MotoGP in Indy. Put the tire on the week before Indy, rode to the track on Friday and left with a nail. Plugged it with my plug gun that is always under the seat and have rode it since. Doesn't leak.

  8. Well, hope this won't tech me out. Came out to the bike yesterday and found a drip of oil under it, thought it was from lubing the chain, rode it. When I got it home I placed a piece of cardboard under it. Got a drip about the size of a penny after sitting all night. Looks like the notorious clutch pushrod seal is starting to leak. I order parts today, but who knows if they will make it in time. What you guys think?

  9. Awesome. Getting stuff around tonight for the day. Painting up wheels and mounting new rubber tomorrow. Thanks for all the help. If you see a lost guy on a black SV1000S with a OR sticker on the windscreen, point me in the right direction.

  10. Do the novice day at Putnam with MS. They will have ample amounts of instructors to assist. Trust me, they do a great job at helping, but understand one important thing here - YOU NEED TO ASK FOR HELP WITH ANY ORGANIZATION. If you sit around and think help will come to you, you may never see help as instructors will watch and if you are in need of assistance by the way you are riding, they will dive in to help, but if you tend to blend in and ride fine, you may never see help as they are looking to help those that really need it or ask.

I guess what I am saying is that instruction is awesome. However, unless you ask for some one on one time or help, it can pass you by because they are working with others. Never feel like you are bothering an instructor or anyone at the track.

We should be there Saturday so, any help you need, don't even think twice and come over to talk. I will help as much as I can. KTM RC8R #10 expert. White lifted van with black/silver trailer.

Awesome, got a little worried when their site suggested the Instructional group.
