There isn't enought room in the boat for the bike. It has fixed seats mounted to the floor. Already thought about that.

So I have a good friends wedding that I will be heading to in July in SC. 700 miles one way. I'm gonna need my Jeep, so I'll be trailering the bike down. Problem is, it's gonna be scorching hot down there, as always, and there is 40 mile long by 20 mile wide lake just down from where I will be staying. So how do I get all of this, down to SC? And don't say buy a truck!

Changing out that Rotary Dampener makes a night and day difference. My bro switched out with an Ohlins he picked up and it made the TLS handle so much nicer. Congrats on the trade. I think your gonna love it.

TLS is a sweet bike. I searched for a 97 forever before I ended up buying my SVS. Couldn't find one that was nice enough for the right $. Of course, a month after I got my SVS, my brother found this.

Pristine 97 TLS that a Suzuki Tech had owned. He had did the steering dampener recall, but kept the stock ECU. That bike was an absolute beast. I wish he would have kept it. He still complains to this day about selling it.

If you don't know the potential you have sitting in your garage, then you must be looking for a status symbol. The SV is a track machine. With some simple upgrades, that bike can run with the best of them.

When I had my soft luggage, I put blue painters tape under it on the plastics. I'm sure you know how easily black paint scuffs.

Nice bike, 03 has a slightly higher tail section that makes it a little more race oriented than the later years. Also limits exhaust choices if ya wanna go full. But either way, welcome to the dark side!!!!

I was debating going, but getting up at 4am to drive down and getting home at midnight is rough. If it was more bike suitable weather, I would be more likely to ride. Plus missing an auctions with a few firearms, and my nephew's first kindergarten concert.

My computer is still running XP. It won't read the GoPro's MP4 format. So I either have to update movie maker, buy a new computer, or find something else.

10k with tread to spare on PR2s. I usually end up changing them out before they are toast cuz I'm making a road trip and want fresh rubber. They get passed on to a buddy who stunts to finish them off.

I have Pilot Road 2s on my SV. On my 3rd set. Getting at least 10k out of a rear. Great all weather grip. Wouldn't ride on anything else on the street. I may also be bias, since I work for Michelin.

2cts would be a great choice. Awesome live and stick well on the track.

I've had 2cts on the bike before, the switched to Road 2s when they came out. Basically comes down to price.

I will be the only one to say BlackBerry, so I gotta say it. I have a BlackBerry phone so it only makes sense. My playbook is currently "Bridged" to my phone sharing email, pics, vids, internet on my AT&T unlimited plan (I'm sure you all know tethering an unlimited plan is a no go) and anything else on my phone. Myphone is even streaming Slacker radio as I type. Plus it runs ported Android apps, like this......

Dang it man! I just bought a 700 in matte black a week ago. If you still have this when I come to C-bus next, I might have to pick it up.

I bought my last AGM Battery at Meijer's. Had it in stock for $65. They usually have a shelf full of bike batteries. Stock battery died after 3 yrs, next one after 1 year (stator fried and toasted itself and the battery). Been on this battery almost a year now and still going strong.

Katana isn't that hard to work on. Its a very basic (but proven powerful and reliable) motor. Jump over KatRiders.com for all the info you could ever dream of. If ya need any extra parts, I got some laying around.

Correct me of I'm wrong, but unless Ohio law has changed, a vehicle capable or hauling 7 or more passengers is exempt from tint laws.
