what happened to your mustang that you were working on a while ago?

 

 

on my way to school ( yes im young ) a girl failed to yield pulled out in front of me and totaled it. my mom was bitching to my dad so i was forced to sell it so she would stfu. her fault. in the end i got about 4,300 from her insurance for it.

Was fun cruisin around in the vert the other day ryan, now for the love of god make it a 5 speed and throw some gears in the back!

 

 

i am. picking up the rear end that chris has with 3.73's in it soon. and 5 lug swap at same time and will probaly get the wheels of chrise as well lol.

Nice lookin car, last night at hoblicks I couldnt tell how clean it really was, those american racing wheels were TERRIBLE, anyways let me know if you ever need a hand or any parts

 

will do. by the end of next month ill have all my 5 lug swap parts together. i could use some help swaping axles and putting new rear end in the stang.

got the headlight drained and sealed back up but there yellowed. so i would like to get them looking halfway decent for the time being.

 

and i think 5 lug swap will be first as im getting a rear end from a guy with 3.73's and will get the 5 lug axles in there before i put the rear end in. then probably just mark 7 rotors for the time being unless i can find the sn95 front and just go that route. then to decide what wheels to use..i think polished or chrome bullets would look sick..but be common. depends whats for sale at that time i guess!

ok my OFFICAL project thread. from day 1 to the end.

 

this will not be my true daily driver.. i will daily drive my truck..now the red ranger. and drive this alot in the summer spring and fall. bad weather.. it stays home. which is a major plus to me. as my projects can take as long as i like.

 

 

 

what im starting with

 

89 Mustang 5.0 convert.

BLACK exterior.

BLACK top.

dark grey ( tweed ) interior

slushbox-O-matic :notnice:

stock 5.0

 

so far all ive done is paint my extra set of wheels with the road racing tires on them .they look much better then the ugly American racing wheels on there right now. will be put on tomm.

 

 

so for right now the ASAP to do list.

 

-Needs cleaned a detailed BAD has been stored and drove very little and not washed at all in the past 2 years...( it shows )

-Remove nasty autozone tips!!! :notnice: FTL

-swap wheels and tires.

-remove headlights...drain water..polish..put back on for now..

 

 

 

 

 

thats my "to do" list for tomm afternoon.

 

 

as it sits right now. the mods it has that i can tell right off the back..

 

-DynoMax Catback.... it will do for now.... :shrug:

 

thats it. other then that starting out with an amazing starter of a project and for only $1,500 i could not afford to pass it up.

 

as it sits now...im thinking i will keep this for a while. i like it.. its in great shape for what it is and i could have some true fun with it!

 

5 speed swap...is a FOR SURE thing. just a matter of when i get all the parts collected as im going to do it on the cheap.

 

5 lug swap is a FOR SURE thing as well..i want some better brakes on this one with the ass holes that drive in Ohio...not to mention..i would like to be able to avoid what happened to my last one...

 

and yeah i know..i cant leave anything alone. so im sure the interior will be getting "somewhat" of a make over. black and grey two toned. :shrug:

i started to replace the clutch in my wrx its an 02...i have removed the intercooler and the downpipe but need more help...if anyone is willing to help me finish this task i will pay some money for a assistance...please someone who has done this before or a subaru owner themselves. thanks alot hope to hear back. 614-832-9977

sorry. it has 114,xxx on it. i can go out and get exact mileage if anyone wants it.

nice truck. love the thing. but i love mustangs more . i want another V8.

 

the engine runs great. never given me a problem. has a new alternator.1,000 miles ago an oil change. tires are in good shape. plenty of tread. interior is flawless. darker grey cloth. no stains or tears. only down side is after the trans is warmed up it starts to slip when you go to get moving from a stop. ive been driving it like this since i bought it. ill happy to go and take a video of what im talking about for anyone who is interested in this explorer. i drove from Hilliard to cincy. and right back to Hilliard and it never gave me a problem.

on a full tank of gas i see around 280 with mixed driving. on my trip to cincy since it was all highway i got 313 to a full tank.

 

looking for 2,500 OBO or trade for a ______ plus cash on my end depending on how nice the mustang or whatever your interested in trading may be.

my digital cam is in my dads truck. when he gets home from work i can take more pictures for anyone who is interested.

Yes it was a tragedy the battery died while I was there. I really wanted more pictures of the thunderbird. It was very loud driving around the track. It was awesome.
