buying a BRAND new car is just about pointless imo. drive it off the lot and there gose thosuands. let someone else take that hit and talk him into a lease turned in early.
this is how we found our escape. and we saved 8k

So can the input shaft be changed to a fox one and is there any way to use a fox bellhousing or do you have to use the 94-95 one?
yes. and you use the fox bell im pretty sure.
-
now 5 lug swap is almost done. only thing left to do its put the drums back together and new hard lines on top of axle.

tomm im going to finish the underside of car. get the rear in. go get what i need to do the breaks. bend to hard lines. then im sure the drum brakes will take be the better part of the day ( i hate drums)...well Wensenday i got to go meet with my lawyer. so not sure if ill get any work done that day or not. hopefully Saturday i will have it ALL done. the tires mounted on the wheels and such. can i get the speedo gear at the dealership? or are they going to rape me on price? LMR sells them for 1.99. dealership be around that?

Ryan I have one in the garage and I can help you make custom brake lines if you want I did all custom stuff on the rear of my car with the discs
id appericate it. the bender i have sucks!
-
are you talking about the distribution block?
yeah. and the hard lines on the axles. id rather just buy this from someone on here if they have them. i really dont feel like sitting out there and bending brake lines becasue im horrible at it.

well i need to track down some new lower controlling arm bolts. went to napa..nothing..ford. guy didnt even know what i was talking about with "lower controlling arm hardware" dumb people..lol.
any idea where i can look? i was thinking hardware store. on the bolt it says 10.9..but these are metric? so as long as i get a 8 up grade bolt then i would be fine right?
so in mean time i cleaned it up some...

added the fulid/friction modifer and got the diff cover on. now if i could find my 11MM open end wrench i would put the brake lines on the new rear end but it missing in action at the moment.

245's for now. car will pretty much sit all winter. i really wanna do the man peddle mod this winter too. but we'll see. i need to go to the dealership and get the correct speedo gear.

235/50/17 wow tall skinny tires
i made a mistake...there 235/45/17 but yeah there for the front. 245/45/17 for the back.
245/45/17 fit perfect in the front. when i got to do tires in spring or something i wonder if 265/45/17 with fit in rear then 245/45/17 up front.
ok. i gave the bolt hell with the BFSH. and lower controlling arm came right out...i hate drums..and im not looking forward to putting them back together lol.

-
hey rob. i just kept heating it and gave it hell with a BFSH and it came out. the heating a cooling for sure helped. then i grabed the bolt not thinking and burnt my hand lol. thanks man!
-
i have one hear that you can use...come get it..it worked great on arrons car
would i be able to come borrow it tomm? im not sure if i can get outta the house right now.
-
most people don't have the tools we do so the heat and cool doesn't work.
yeah i know. i cant even get a saw in there to cut the bolt either. anything else i can try
-
i get the head of the bolt redish in color , then splash it with water. smack it with the hammer then heat it again..sometime it helps heating the thread side some to.
my torch wont get it hot enough.
im out of ideas now.
stripped lug.
