lol no im not touching one...i paid a guy in grove city to do mine...he did a kick ass job and for a very nice price...right under 500...you should stop by this weekend if you get a chance.

yeah body work is next...maybe ill start this weekend..depends on what my dad wants to do.

what is the shape of your pads and cables? pads are a lil over $150.00

my top is costing me $487 i brought my own top...325 for install and hte rest was the pads cost i need front and rear pads.

got a picture or anything i could show him?

yeah but is it really necessary to have that? my dads doors were off a coupe..cut em and painted them...very light havent had a problem out of em?

bring your own top and whatever you will need to have it put on and it will be $325 to have it installed by him....if you like i can talk to him on friday and see how much one would cost to put it on your vert?

i did a new top on my boo's car and it was stupid i will never do another again 144 staples lol

when this top is all said and done there will be over 1,000 staples in it....yeah i said 1,000 staples.

lol yeah rust...good thing it is all surface except for on spot...the rear 1/4 ill have to weld a patch panel int here but thats no biggie either. :burn:

I have a top switch and convertible doors are different that coupe and hatch doors. A T-Top door would work tho.

yeah i know there different....the doors on my dads vert started out as coupe doors.....we cut em....in fact every signal vert started out as a coupe and had there doors cut..

Shop closed down but still have most of the cars sadly

what you plan on doing with the cars?

we took our Escape out there...was there for 42 days while they put a new trans in(they told is 5 days and we would have it back..in the mean time they fucked up the paint scratches everywhere. a few dents then got all bitchy when we pointed them out...we had the car no longer then 5,000 miles when the trans let go..(only worked in R) everything was perfect...not dosent look so good...wrappers in the car from them doing there test drive..they aloud to eat i take it in the cars... and for the 42 days it was there they charged us for a rental... 10 bucks a day for a POS focus......

they must not of liked our truck...

I have a rust free door for a hatchback for $75. Which side do you need?

it not done yet...he had just started when we showed up....he makes it look so easy...but im glad im paying a pro to do this... he will be done Tomorrow...so Thursday...we will pick it up Friday becasse weather will be better..

yeah i thought that was you.. and it was an 88 notch and the black vert. also have the 01 vert as well.

the 88 coupe is long gone.

Ponies got shipped off to Texas. I went to Hoblick's a couple times and drove by your place to see if I could catch a glimps of the 86. That Supercoupe looked nice.

 

You and your dad stopped by a few days after you brought it back from getting painted. This is the first time I've seen it with the chrome rims.

 

I picked up this Mustang about a year ago.

yeah SC was nice dynoed 209rwhp 296rwtq nice car only paid 1k for it...polsihed the wheels and sold it for 2,500 :burn:

my dads vert is a garage whore..it only comes out if weather is 100%..hasent seen rain since it was painted only drove when all thats out is sun.....i wanted the 86 really bad when we found it...but my dad bought it for him self what an :asshole: but i got a few other cars out of it and i really like the 88 i have now..big plans for this thing

yeah right after we painted it...it was nice very happy day...it was in sad shape...had to replace both doors, deck lid, everything else was solid.

you should stop by some time with your GT vert...havent seen it im a while. you ever get the doors fixed when someone stole a few things from it?

yeah he still has the cobra...it was going to be mine but i ended up getting a 83 Mustang then sold that and bought a superchargerd thunder bird...i wanted another mustang so i bought the 88 to fix up as my daily driver.

you seen the stang in person since it was painted? if not well have to met up sometime! hoblick..i believe i bought a spoiler from you last last year..you has a 84 coupe that you were working on at the time along with a black GT at the time.

wait a min..your name is Mark right? the guy my dad bought the 86 5.0 off of was mark who at the time had a red Gt vert that had pony wheels on it but also had the bullets waiting to go on this you man?

bought it in 04 from a guy named mark living over by old hilliard at the time but moved a while after to a house in west jefferson i believe? he also had an 85 Rx7 at the time the i believe you sold?

we lost all of marks contact information after he moved...we were gonna stop by with the 86 after we got it done but never got the chance after he moved? just wondering if this is your old stang?

Oh ok. I was under the impression you were going to dye the carpet.

yeah sorry....what i ment was i dyed the bottom of the carpet on the door panels and rear panels.

frm what i heard they are still working the bugs out. Thats why the blower isn't hooked up and they do have plans to make AWD. I don't know how that would be possible though

Personally I would have just bought the carpet in black. Nothing like having nice fresh carpet. It isn't super difficult to put in...just remove the seats and brackets and center console which you are probably already proficient in.

i know..i replaced it on a hatch before..i just want to get i painted before i spend any other of my money...we will paint it our self like we did the 86 so it will be about 600-800 after i paint it top is costing me a lil over 450 installed after both of these are done...then im gonna buy black carpet and find a nice set of black LX seats for a vert...or some black cloth seats from a sn95.

Did you change your heater core while you had that dash out? Every Fox I've owned so far has needed the heater core changed out and that was the perfect time to do it.
