the gauge cluster that will fit your car is an '89. i think that was the first year with the 140mph speedo. the '90-93 clusters have the bump in the middle for the airbag, so they're not a perfect fit, but close enough.

fits in my 88 fine...i just took the 140mph speedo out of the 93gt cluster...cut it to fit my 88..put it in and put it in the car...works perfect.

Could be a generator engine too... Our 2000KVA generator engine is every bit that big. 16 cyl with 2 HUGE turbos. When Ohio Cat comes out and does an oil change they bring the oil in 2-55 gallon drums.

I dont have white face guages but i have the plastic lens that goes over the whole speedo cluster for an 87-89 on my old 85 mph speedo if thats what ur lookin for

I dunno some wierd ass thing, and if your car is an 88 I belive an 90-93 cluster wont work right, Does it have the blue or pink back the 87-89 needs the blue

yeah i know...i took the 140 mph speedo out of the 93 cluster and pulled the 85mph speedo out of mine and put the 140mph one in after i filled it down so it would fit..took me 20 mins...wasnt bad...then i used the face and plastic from the 93 becasue it looked a little better then the 88 style...

have idea where to even look for something like that?

Be CAREFUL when you put whitefaces on or get the tool to pull the pointers off the correct way or it will mess up every gauge on the cluster, Glad to see you came to the 140 side in the fox world.

 

P.S. I still have a top switch if you need it.

yeah i bought a 93 GT cluster from a guy on my local forum and i pulled the point off of the RPM on the left over cluster and it was a little bit tough to get off....

no thats a stock GT bumper...and that is NOT a stock spoiler for a mustang convertible..all gt vert came with a luggage rack or the 92-93 LX's if they were the limits they came with a small spoiler..but not one like that..close but no dice.
