STT TrackFest 2014 @ Gingerman 8/16 - 8/18
RidersDiscount replied to EvIL TWiN's topic in Track is Crack
We are in barring any major issues. I'll be there with my personal R6, the bossman will be there breaking in new parts and testing setup numbers on both the AMA DSB Triumph 675R 2013 and 2014 bikes. - Nathan -
These come with a clip, we recommend always going with a rivet. PM headed that way, thanks!

One of the more popular chains on the market today, the EK 520 MVXZ is an excellent alternative to some of the more expensive chains and with a variety of color choices available, there's sure to be a chain that will look good on your bike. With a tensile strength at 9,000 lbs, the MVXZ is able to handle even the toughest track abuse. Now with metallic blue, metallic red, and metallic green (not pictured) options available in addition to the previous standard colors. The metallic options are a bit darker than their standard color counterparts. EK chains come well greased from the factory. We recommend cleaning this up after install so you don't fling grease all over your bodywork during your first ride. Available in gold, metallic blue, metallic red, and green pictured here, as well as red, blue, chrome, metallic green, black, and pink. Note: the standard blue is more of a classic MotoGP Rizla Suzuki blue. Rivet and clip style links are sold separately. We do offer chain tools to help with installation. We also have a variety of sprocket brands available, from Renthal, Driven, Vortex, and more, we can build a complete 520 chain kit for your application. For more information, feel free to send MIKE a message through this forum or give him a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 804. Is email more convenient? Now that we have the Yoshimura Race Stand Stopper kit installed, we can start tackling other projects. First up was giving the Grom a little more pep with a gearing change. Stock gearing for the Grom is a 15T sprocket up front and a heavy 34T sprocket in rear. We went with 14T and 37T Renthal sprockets and a DID 420 gold chain to really make it stand out. Removing the chain was easy as the stock chain uses a clip master link. Remove the clip, pull the master link, and the chain will come right off. The sprockets were also pretty easy to change out. A lock washer on the front and 4 nuts on the back were all that need to be removed to change the sprockets. The stock rear sprocket weighed in at 1.15lbs. The new Renthal sprocket shown here weighed in at .35lbs. Nearly a pound shaved off. That's a massive rotational weight savings. One of the last steps is figuring out how long or short you want your chain. We went with 54 links as this placed the axle right in the middle of the adjustment blocks. Install the clip into the master link and you are done! Generally after installing a new chain it will stretch after a few rides. Be sure to keep tabs on your chain slack and adjust as necessary. One of the best modifications you can do to your motorcycle is swap out the stock taillight with a new BikeMaster LED Integrated taillight available from Riders Discount. Pictured for the 07 600RR An integrated taillight combines all the functions of your rear lighting system into one unit. This works as the running light, brake light, turn signals, and license place light. Designed to replace the stock unit with OE connectors and plug n play harness. Note: some bikes may need to splice turn signal connections. With LED lights, this is going to be brighter and more effective at increasing your visibility to other vehicles. In order for us to really dive in to the Riders Discount Honda Grom bike build, we needed swingarm spools so we could get a rear stand under the back end for extra support. The Race Stand Stopper kit from Yoshimura was an easy solution to our problem. Stainless steel hardware is included with an anodized finish for looks that will last. Note: An updated design has negated the need for the small screw above the washer pictured here. Installation has only gotten easier as Yoshimura has recently updated the design so that drilling is no longer required. Simply remove the old stock swingarm end cover and reinstall the supplied Yoshimura brackets. Torque the spools on to the brackets and you are done! Note: This step has been removed due to an updated design. For more information or if you'd like to place an order, send MIKE a message through this forum or give him a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 804. Red Bull Signature Series OGIO 9800 on Special
RidersDiscount replied to RidersDiscount's topic in Sponsors
Thanks for the feedback, I have three Ogio bags myself and couldn't agree more. Also, if you take on an airplane you feel like you are getting your money's worth for the baggage fees. -
One of the cooler skull graphics we've seen come through the Riders Discount office in a while, the Scorpion EXO-500 packs features everyone desires into this helmet along with an affordable price. Scorpion includes a drop down sun visor treated with antifog on both sides. It is not very common for helmets with an inner shield to have any rating higher than DOT, however Scorpion has done it achieving an ECE approved rating. Rotate the inner shield up or down with a simple to use and easy to find with gloves on lever behind the shield. The EXO-500 includes a very comfortable Kwickwick2 moisture wicking, removable, washable, hypoallerginic liner that allows for a custom fit with the patented Airfit technology. The Airfit allows you to inflate and deflate the cheek pads to give you a custom fit. Fit is smaller than usual, we recommend ordering up one size. To order yours, give MIKE a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 804 or send him a message through this forum. Is email more convenient? Write us at FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM, and we'll get back to you right away! Available in matte white (pictured here), or matte black.

Red Bull Signature Series Ogio Rig 9800 The Rig 9800 comes with roughly 9800 cubic inches of capacity, so there’s tons of room for all your riding gear inside. All of this is supported by Ogio’s Structural Load Equalizing Deck (SLED) to provide secure storage of all your critical riding gear. Opening the full-circumference coffin-style lid, you’re greeted by a padded helmet storage compartment on one end and a large area to put your gear like jersey/leathers, gloves and armor away. In the top lid, Ogio recommends placing your boots, but for those of you who like to keep them out to dry, this area is good for a change of clothes, towels and other smaller gear. There are also three more smaller pockets (two inside, one outside) for further organizational possibilities. Large zippers keep it all inside and users can employ a pair of built-in external compression straps to keep everything safely held in place while the bag is on the move. A large set of wheels perfectly compliment the telescoping handle and substantial, durable grab handles are logically placed for easy handling even when the bag is overloaded. Plus, for over-eager baggage handlers, your gear is further protected by the integrated iFOM-padded panels on all sides. Best of all, the Ogio Rig 9800 is built like a tank, and they’re backed by a lifetime warranty! Order your Ogio Rig 9800 today to insure that you have room for all of your gear when you need to travel. You can order by calling MIKE at 866.931.6644 x 804 or by sending us a PM through this forum. You can also feel free to send an email to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get back to you right away.

If you have an older motorcycle, you have likely run into electrical troubles. If you’re lucky, more often than not it is just the battery. But for the unfortunate ones, finding the source of an electrical gremlin can be a nightmare. The basic motorcycle electrical system consists of three main components, the battery, the alternator, and the regulator/rectifier. The alternator creates the electricity by converting kinetic energy into electrical to charge the battery. The battery stores the energy, while the regulator keeps the voltage from overcharging the battery, and the rectifier converts current from AC to DC. If anyone of these components fails, it can have the owner chasing their tail to diagnose the problem. For help with diagnostics, ElectrSport has provided a PDF flow chart to aid in finding a solution to your problem. Riders Discount offers a solution to whatever your problem requires by having stators, regulator/rectifiers, and batteries available. ElectroSport includes a 12-month warranty against defects in workmanship or materials. If you need help with installation, be sure to ask your Riders Discount salesman about picking up a Clymer manual for your bike. For more information, or if you'd like to place an order give MIKE a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 804. You can also send a PM through this forum, or an email to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get back to you right away!

The Braking SK2's "non-round", or more commonly referred to wave design, allows for high heat dissipation resulting in stable, predictable power in all braking conditions. Combine that with an overall lighter weight rotor versus stock, and you have an exceptional brake upgrade for your motorcycle. Give MIKE a call today to order yours!
