The Bell Star MIPS Torsion Helmet features a Multi-directional Impact Protection System (MIPS). MIPS is a new technology from Bell that is designed to reduce rotational forces in the case of a crash.
Constructed from a mixture of Aramid, carbon fiber, and fiberglass, the Bell Star is a lightweight and durable helmet.
Intake and exhaust vents work together to allow fresh air in and remove hot, moist air.
This helmet comes with a clear Panovision shield. Bell's Panovision incorporates larger viewports that allow you to see more while doing head-checks, lane changes, or searching for obstacles. The center shield mechanism makes opening and closing the shield easy while riding.
The Star's cheek pads and comfort liner incorporate Bell's X-Static and XT-2 materials, which are moisture wicking and antimicrobial.

As a review, these are great. Anyone who doesn't want straps (difficult to get to gas filler) or have plastic/aluminum tanks where magnets won't work, these are great. They are "lifted" off your tank so no concern about scratches. 20 minute first time setup time but 1 second on/off thereafter. I've got the smaller daypack model that i use for daily riding. Admittedly pricey, but if you can swing it, you'll never look at other options again.
The brand is good. I had their blaze saddle bag system for the '06 R1. about the only option for saddle bags for sportbikes with undertail exhausts without permanent framing. Have held up well through weekend trips and commutes. Wish they made the adaptor/arms to fit my '16 R1 so I can reuse my saddle bags.
If anyone has questions or concerns I can try to give my real-world perspective

I like the looks of it. One of my best friends dad has a wing and loves it, this was his words when I asked him what he thought of the 2018 version:
