The RPHA 10 Pro is the top of the race helmet line at HJC. Standing for "Revolutionary Performance Helmet Advantages," the RPHA 10 Pro was designed for both comfort and durability on the race track. Now it's available in the flat red, black, and white Cypher graphic. The shell of the RPHA 10 Pro is made with multiple materials, including carbon fiber, aramid, fiberglass and organic non-woven fabric. The result of this "Advanced P.I.M. (Premium Integrated Matrix)" is a highly durable, yet lightweight helmet. The ventilation system built into this helmet has undergone many improvements. The chin vent is much easier to adjust than the previous version, and allows for 20% more airflow. "Max Air-flow Top Vents" are now easier to adjust with riding gloves, and have 6 different air intake positions thanks to their dial design. Rear exhaust vents work along with the rear wing to remove hot air, as well as reduce drag. The RapidFire II HJ-20 shield replacement system makes removing the shield easy (no tools needed). The shield lock securely holds the shield closed when latched, and is easy to release thanks to a one-touch system. This helmet comes with a Pinlock 2-D flat-racing shield. Inside of the helmet is HJC's "SilverCool Plus" cheek pads and comfort liner. The material is soft, moisture-wicking, odor-free interior, and anti-bacterial. 3-D padding allows for a tight, yet comfortable race fit. The padding is completely removable and washable. This helmet's breath guard is removable as well. This helmet is designed for intermediate and neutral oval head shapes. Arai has long been known for their superior quality motorcycle helmets, and the Corsair-V has been a racing staple for many riders since its release. Arai has redesigned the popular Corsair-V, and announced its upgraded version as the Arai Corsair-X. The Corsair-X Nicky 6 features a striking red, white, and blue American Flag style graphic on the sides with Hayden's signature #69 near the bottom of each side. The top ties in the green color we’ve seen on previous helmets, and leads into the famous Nicky “Kentucky Kid” logo on the center back part of the helmet. With all of the new features of the Corsair-X and this special graphic, the Nicky 6 is a truly spectacular helmet. The PB SNC2 Shell of the Corsair X is much lighter. In fact, it is 30% lighter than the V. This is greatly attributed to the synthetic fibers and special resin formula that Arai has developed. Arai has not abandoned their special R75 shell shape, however. A lightweight, aerodynamic, and protective helmet is very sought after by racers, and Arai certainly has delivered. One of the bigger changes to the Corsair-V is the upgraded ventilation system in the Corsair-X. The top/center vent allows around 11% more airflow than the Corsair-V did. All of the vents on the new Corsair-X are easier to adjust with gloves, as well as more durable and longer. Another significant change is the new "Variable Axis System" (VAS). The VAS has a variable axis (moving pivot point) allowing the shield to open and close, even with the 24mm lower shield mount position. The interior of the Corsair-X not only provides protection and comfort, but also does a great job keeping you cool. The plush lining in combination with the ventilation system wicks sweat away and helps keep you a comfortable temperature. The interior is made of Eco Pure material, which helps maintain neutral acidity levels close to human skin and antibacterial consumption. 5mm peel away ear pockets on the Corsair-X allow riders room for a communication system. Per customers’ requests, Arai lowered the chin bar by 3mm for extra comfort (great for riders that use a microphone) and upgraded the chin curtain and neck roll to help block out unwanted noise and help improve ventilation. MSRP $969.95 The Corsair-X comes with a VAS V MV Shield, which is a clear anti-fog Pinlock shield. There are several tinted shield options available for purchase as well.
