One of the biggest improvements on the Sena 20S is the range of communication. Sena claims the range to be at 1.2 miles (2km) with open terrain and line of sight achieved using Bluetooth 4.0 technology and the pop-up antenna on the units. However, not everywhere we ride has 1.2 miles of clear line of sight unless we are riding through the Great Plains... Realistically we experienced about 1/2 to 3/4 miles of clear communication riding through the city and around town. What's great about the 20S over the SMH10 is if you do fall out of range from the other device, it will automatically reconnect as soon as it's back in range whereas the SMH10 needs to be significantly closer. Here you can better see the "Ambient Mode" button on the bottom of the unit we talked about in the previous posting. This allows you to quiet everything if you need to talk to someone outside your helmet or allow more focus at an intersection. Targa Sportbike Tail Kits available from Riders Discount include everything you need to eliminate the ugly stock rear fender on your motorcycle. The PCV also allows you to raise the rev limit, although we're going to opt to leave the rev limiter stock. Pre-installed with a zero map, meaning no changes from stock, you can download maps as they become available from PowerCommander.com or have it custom tuned at your preferred tuning center. A PCV can be beneficial even for a stock bike. From the factory, a stock bike will have rich and lean spots to meet Federal noise and emissions requirements. Sending a map to the PCV is as simple as plugging it in to your computer via USB, and within a few clicks you'll have a new map loaded onto the module. This is the absolute easiest fuel management system we've ever installed. There is no wire tapping or splicing, it is quite literally plug n' play. Unplug the ECU from the main wire harness, plug the "T" harness off the PCV into the the ECU and the other into the Grom's main wiring harness and you're done. Some people have been installing these on top of the battery. We opted for a different location behind the fuses. We trimmed a bit of the tray to make it work but if fits perfectly. The wire harness tucks neatly along the subframe rail down to the ECU.

Water temperature sensor, probably the most complicated part of the installation as you will have to cut into your bike’s coolant line. For air-cooled bikes, a sensor sits at the top of the spark plug to gauge engine temperature. If the instructions weren’t clear enough and easy to follow, many leads are also labeled. What better way to enhance the braking power of your Honda Grom than with a Brembo caliper upgrade? Available from Riders Discount, this billet aluminum caliper typically found on the rear of a motorcycle is able to be fitted to the front with the help of a Tyga bracket (also available from Riders Discount). Why would you upgrade a caliper? For the street guys, it'd be a nice accessory to show off to your friends. However for racing, a caliper upgrade can provide better response and feedback to the lever allowing you to brake harder and deeper into the corners improving your lap times.
