  15. Eh repost schmepost. Why do we have a Firearms section on a motorcycle forum? Just sayin' Eh, call me lazy. I didn't bother to research out forums lol.
  16. And here is the head-up-his-ass city councilman responding to this incident. Apparently if you are going to be in a horrible neighborhood late at night, having a weapon to protect yourself makes NO sense. Why it's just absurd according to him! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBfpBxY2J00
  17. I highly recommend watching the entire video even though it is long. This cop is completely out of control. Numerous mistakes were made on the end of the officers, but this is just insane! 21. Well, I got the carbs cleaned out, replaced gaskets and O-rings, replaced hoses and clamps, floats are set. Started it and adjusted screws properly, but engine was revving with choke on at about 2500 and then would go up to about 5k. Managed to get it idling at proper rpms with choke half on, but when giving it gas, it wouldn't go above 3500rpm. Bike dies if choke is off. So I took it to a mechanic and he found a clogged jet. He blew out the holes with compressed air and everything should be great... Put carbs back on and now I can't get the bike to idle at all...regardless of choke. It's leaking a bit out the left overflow hose. I knocked the side of the carb in case the float was sticking. Got it to idle. Tried a few things, turned off choke, and now bike won't start again. Turning over just fine. I just don't get it. It idled fine (aside from the stated issues) before he unclogged the jets. He said I was pretty much running on only one carb. Now that I'm running on two, I got nothing. Should also add that I fixed the throttle cable and it's not hanging up anywhere. I have looked extensively for a usable diagram/schematics (or even instructions) on the cable routing, but can't find anything. It's possible the cable was routed wrong before I got it. That's a different issue though. I will be getting the title sometime this week and putting the bike up for sale. Was hoping to get the bugs out before I sell it though. I have another bike waiting for me, but it's in the Cleveland area and have no way to go get it.
  22. My ex is house shopping too. He came super close to closing on a house and the same thing happened. Someone broke in and stole all the copper piping, wiring, etc. He made a lower bid and said he'd fix up the place and save them over 10k if he did it himself. They refused to let him do it. It had been sitting there over a year anyway. Now it's going to sit there again.
  23. Shouldn't you be busy helping out Jay and Don by "cleaning" under their desks?
