  1. Actually, a cop was nearby and blocked me off to help me and make sure I was ok. I couldn't pick the bike up and people in cars were just staring at me like zombies. He was the only one that actually gave a damn. A minivan turning left from the other direction almost ran over my head. No one cared. He helped me pick it up and push it over to the gas station because the clutch lever snapped in half. Nothing fell out of my pockets or off the bike
  2. Maybe I can see them someday! I'd say never let your guard down with any wild animal. They can change moods in a flash. Kinda like me...
  3. So they say.... I hope you find work soon!
  4. If you wanna call stepping in some oil while it's raining at a stop light and dumping a legit accident, then sure lol. But I did have a real accident when I first learned how to ride. That's why I specified CAR in my original post
  5. It's a bit beyond unemployment for me. I'll still take the nasty diapers lol. However, there isn't much I wouldn't do for money right now. As long as it's safe, I won't get arrested/caught, and I am physically capable of it (NO DONKEY SHOWS), I'm open to suggestions. I'd prefer to keep my most of my morals in check, but I'm not too picky at this point. Dog poop isn't my forte, but I'd pick it up lol. Oh, and as of about 30 minutes ago, I now need a new used couch.
  6. Snakes are fine as long as I don't have to feed them live mice. At least infants don't have teeth and go batshit crazy on you. But honestly, I do need work. I will train dogs or walk them if you want that. If you want me to be your hired pooper-scooper, I'll do that too.
  7. I failed my exam twice before I got my license. One time was a complete downpour and I couldn't see the cones. Second time, the lot was a sheet of ice and I tapped a cone and it went sliding. That's Cleveland for ya. I'd like to add I have never been in a car accident, nor have I ever received a ticket in my life. How many of you guys can say that?
  8. I would be in 7th heaven taking care of your cats. I've seen pictures! I originally went to college for zoology. Kept it as part of one of my minors. Was my dream growing up to work with the big cats. As much as I'd love to cuddle with them, I understand they are still feral and would be realistic about the situation You're probably just toying with my emotions though...
  9. Not sure if you're joking or not on that one. Did you need him trained or do you just like kicking him around a bit?
  10. Actually, yeah I probably could. He knows you think he's a dick so he doesn't take you seriously...
  11. If anyone in the C-bus area needs a sitter or knows of someone who does, I am available. I am currently CPR/AED certified, background and education as a Medical Assistant, and worked in security for over 8 yrs. I have had to respond to medical emergencies in the past, one was life threatening and I was the first responder. I also worked at a summer camp for two years as a counselor and the Arts & Crafts Director. During college I worked as a tutor for high school students and I was a big sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters for 3 years. Completely clean background. Have my own transportation. Available anytime. Great with pets too if you need a pet sitter! I have several pets of my own and have always been around animals. Studied animal behavior in college as well.
  12. Half Slovak & other half is French, German, and English. Throughout life, I've had a tendency to ride things that are a PITA or a POS. Same can be said for the vehicles/bikes
  13. Last time I went swimming in Lake Erie, I came home and found out that there was a "toxic level" warning that day (or something along those lines). Meaning nobody should be touching that water. That was about eleven years ago I think.
  14. My dad would too, but they live up north. My dad has helped a lot with this bike, but he's also meant well and messed it up lol. My huge set back is not having money to take it anywhere or being able to pay anyone to work on it. My situation is pretty messed up right now. I don't even know if I will have gas money to ride it once it finally is fixed lol! Actually, once it's fixed, it's getting sold asap.
  15. Thanks John. I don't have a caliper...that's why I can't do it myself. I can't afford to go buy one either, so I thought I'd ask.
  16. Since I fixed my recent problems with the bike, of course there's a new one. Replaced all the O-rings and gaskets on carbs and cleaned them out, but the left carb is peeing gas. Turns out there were two completely different float needles on the bike . Went out and now have two that are the same. Didn't pee gas before when it was different, but now it does. Anyway, I don't have the proper tool to calibrate the measurements for the float. I'm guessing since it's a new/different kind of needle, it needs adjusted. Does anyone in the Columbus area think they can help me out? I live on the SE end near Groveport if someone would be kind enough to swing by, but I can bring the carb with me so I don't have to borrow a tool. Problem would be testing this POS. ReconRat was kind enough to give me PDF shop and repair manuals, so I have the specs. p.s. I checked the float and it's not retaining gas, so my best guess is the level needs set.
  17. You're welcome. I was watching a show online and it was in an ad banner at the bottom of the screen lol. Thought it was pretty cool. There's a wiki for everything these days!
  18. That's wonderful! Thank you Tony. That's an awesome site you have too. My flash keep crashing. Hopefully I can get it fixed and build one.
  19. Coolest old hippy on a bagger I know though! You should go ride with him. He's good people!
  20. I just found this site. Thought some of you might like it... http://www.dirtopia.com/wiki/Main_Page
