This is the first time in a year CPL Sommers l return home after the injuries he sustained while in Afghanistan in 2010 . Please be on hand to WELCOME HOME this Wounded Warrior. If you can fly and American flag from your bike please sure it is attached well.

    We will be escorting CPL Sommers with a brief stop at the VFW Post #1067 Ashland ,Ohio then to his home . Make sure your tanks are topped off . If you need to contact Ralph, please email him at:

    dayton — the city’s civil service board and the u.s. Department of justice have agreed on a lower passing score for the police recruit exam after it was rejected because not enough blacks passed the exam.

    The city lowered both written exams a combined 15 points that resulted in 258 more people passing the exam, according to a statement released thursday by civil service officials. The agreement allows the city to immediately resume its plans to hire police and firefighters.

    The original passing scores determined by civil service required candidates to answer 57 of 86 (66 percent) questions correctly on one portion and 73 of 102 (72 percent) on the other. The lowered benchmark requires candidates to answer 50 of 86 (58 percent) questions correctly and 64 of 102 (63 percent) of questions on the other.

    A total of 748 people passed the exam under the new benchmarks. It is unclear the demographics of those who passed.

    The passing candidates will undergo preliminary background checks and, once that hurdle is cleared, will be subject to an oral interview. Those dates have not been determined.

    The justice department’s rejection of the passing scores last month delayed the city’s firefighter’s exam that was slated for april 2. A makeup date has yet to be set for the exam.

    The city said it wants to put new hires on the street in both police and fire departments by next year to replace dozens of retirees that have left public safety forces near all-time lows.

    ah yes another Cleveland hater. but yes I've grown up on Honey Hut since the time they only had 1 store on State Road on the Cleve/Parma border. Used to play baseball right down the street and we'd go after almost every win

    I was born up there and lived there for 19 yrs. I don't hate it, but I certainly don't miss it. My parents are still up there. The store you mention is the one my parents always used to take me to.

    She's not a Hooker, she doesn't even charge. Besides I already had her once and she ended up throwing beer on me in the parking lot of Buddys after the motorcycle show and making it look like I pissed myself. She's a real bitch anyways.

    What do you expect to get for free? Ya get what ya pay for ;)

    Calm down, Turbo lol. I'm sure you aren't the only one who didn't know that. It wasn't even directed towards you. I always used to wonder why it wouldn't work when I tried to post on other forums. I figured it out, so I thought I'd pass it along. ;)

    Another helpful tip -

    If you do grab a youtube link straight from the URL, before you post it, make sure you delete everything AFTER the ampersand (&). This way, the video will actually be recognized and show up in your post (instead of just a link). Sometimes there won't be anything at the end, but if you click another video from the page, it often comes up saying "feature=****". When posting the link from the "share" box (the shortened version), the video will not appear embedded in the post either.

    I highly recommend Handel's Homemade Ice Cream. There was one over by me at Gender and Refugee, but they closed it down :nono: Looks like the only one by C-bus is in Powell now. Here's a list of their locations (I'm not sure where some of the other cities are). They would have good daily specials too. I think I always used to go on Thursdays when they had buy one pint, get one free. I'd just take it home and throw it in the freezer. Not as easy to do on a bike though.

    Here's a flavor list! Their seasonal flavors are sooo good too.

    I'd be down for an ice cream riding group lol.
