  1. My first race was "Tackle the Tower" in Cleveland. 38 flights of stairs (400 steps). First goal was the finish and the second goal was to do it in under 20 minutes. Finished in 9 minutes 52 seconds. 38th in my age group out of 53, 538th out of 800 overall. My trainer ran ahead me (way ahaed of me) and finished in like 6:30 and 3rd in her age group.
  2. I need to go do some shopping soon. Down 65 lbs since last February with a goal of another 25. Did one race this month, doing a 2 mile race in march and a 5K in May. Looking at another 5K in April in my area to take part in. The gym is starting to become my second home.

  4. y'all making me hungry for shit that's off my list for now. Damn you! But on the lighter side of things, here's a quote I saw over the weekend and its kind of hit home with my fitness goals. “The good Lord gave you a body that can stand most anything. It’s your mind you have to convince.” - Vince Lombardi
  5. I volunteer when I can. As for the OP, I'd do it in a heartbeat!
  6. If I had the space I'd be interested. Time to figure out what i can get rid of in the basement
  7. Well not to thread jack your thread Holly but gotta give my update from today. I did the Tackle the Tower run in Downtown Cleveland which was 38 flights straight up. My goal was to be sub 20 minutes. Well to my surpirse did it in 9:52.8 and was38th out of 53 in my age bracket and 538th out of 800 registered racers. Need to give mad props to my trainer who headed before me and then waited at the top for me (I was 3 minutes behind her). Not like she could have left as I had the car keys!
  8. So is it a bad sign when I'm sitting here at work since 7:00 and haven't accomplished a damn thing? I'm sure that since I'm looking for a new gig that has nothing to do with it!
  9. Had some shooting with a beauty dish and some images projected on a screen behind the model and then some plain jane with a black background
  10. good times yesterday. Shit Jinu was so f'ing lazy that Kevin and I had to clear his driveway for him! While we waited around and bs'd an impromtu gun show busted out. Jinu, I'll get my drill and die grinder from ya in the next couple of weeks. Good to meet everyone.
  11. Well that sucks! For those interested I'm hitting the road and going to hit Sherwin Shooting Sports' range for some stress relief. That's once I find my eye and ear protection. I just love it when the munchkins "acquire" them.
  12. Don't worry Brandon, we'll make sure to save some lovin for you! Seriously, that does suck. Been there and done that about eights years ago. Got done witha project early, returned the rental car and hopped on an earlier flight on stand-by. Got nailed with a snow storm in Chicago and had to wait six hours. The kicker was that if I had hung out in KC for fours hours I would have made it home earlier then wth the standby flight I took. The ostand-by flight had a stop'n'go in Chicago while my original flight was direct back to Cleveland. What a kick in that pants that was.
  13. Craig let me know if you;re hitting the range, which one and what time. I'll bring my gun as well. I'll bring some tools with me as well.
  14. Hell yeah!!!!!!!! Rep to Craigypooh for the idea. It ight be best to call ahead and make sure we can get a spot in his section.
  15. Well I did run the track five years ago a$$hat, does that count? Yes I has a bike but it was pretty much ceglected last year with only 500 miles added to it:cry:
  16. Demanded and received a hall pass. John you need a facial? You got it.
  17. It's going to be one of those days I can tell. Got a wake up call at 300am via my youngest who threw up. So today is stay at home with the kid day and I'm still getting work done for my full time job. The worst part about it, I'll get no appreciation from my boss for doing work from home while dealing with a sick kid. Damn it's time to find a new job and soon!
  18. As I usaully don't use mine during the day, I'm always willing to lend it out to people I know / trust. All I ask for in return is gas and a CD order.
