A/C line pressure is fine. All engine sensors appear to be normal. With the scanner if you command it to work, everything works. Command state other wise says "Withheld". When you turn on the A/C with the button on the control unit it flashes for a second on the screen that you hit the button but goes right back to "off". All sensors on that command screen appear to be working. I am sure someone with more knowledge of this scan tool could probably figure this out fairly quick.

It was not low. It does have climate control. Used our scanner and it only has a body code for the recirculation circuit. B0229.

03 Chevy Avalanche 2500. Started the truck yesterday, everything was fine. Took it about 10 minutes away and the A/C stopped working. I messed with it for a while yesterday and made no progress so I brought it into work today. Here's what I know... If you disconnect the battery, A/C works. If you leave it sit over night. A/C works. It will stop working after about 5-10 minutes, it will not come back on until one of the above happens. System already had dye in it, no visible leaks. We discharged/recharged the system, no change. Its not a relay. Its not the pump. Compressor clutch kicks on/off fine during the time its working. We are kind of thinking a pressure switch or control unit. Obviously will try pressure switch first. Anyone have any thoughts?

We are all still here!
-
If it is going to be a nice night, we will be taking over the patio. If it's going to be raining or anything we will be in the room to the left.
-
Yeah I will update this thread too.
-
Not sure, just will depend on how he is feeling, but you can text me and see if we are still there when you are done.

Anthony is out of the hospital and ready to come out for a bit. QS&L Friday June 7th, 7pm. Post a message up here if you plan on coming out so I can make sure we reserve enough seating. Hope to see everyone there!

He will definitely have a more strict diet. There are no specific foods in general that will be eliminated but he is on a carb restricted diet. He can still get an occasional cheeseburger from McDonalds for lunch, but his total lunch cannot exceed 75g carbs.

We will be going to a gym 3x a week and he will have scheduled PT for a while. He knows a lot of people want to visit him, he said maybe we will meet at QS&L on friday. I will figure it out later and post something in the meets section.

He can do a lap around the hall at Rhodes. He can go to the bathroom by himself. But easily winded. Biggest concern is making sure he is strong enough for stairs. We have a loft he enjoys being in. I want to make sure he won't fall when he comes home. I am glad he is doing this PT. He just transferred a little bit ago.

After an ungodly amount of phone calls and pushing this through the system. We finally have the approval and he is going to Dodd today! Scheduled for 2pm transfer.

Thank you Doc for all the years you opened up the hang out for us! It was always a fun time. -
Yeah.... Haven't updated that list in a while, there's a few missing. We bought a 99 C5.

Guessing the radiator & fans should fit in my 99? If so, i will take them.

Not as much as you would think. They were monitoring him and giving him some food with the feeding tube. Unfortunately lost some muscle though. But i know he will get it back. We talked about it yesterday after his walk. He said he was in worse shape after he broke his neck/back. So he is keeping positive and is trying hard to get out of there.
-
He can't speak out loud yet. He can only whisper.

I feel like this just needed quoted again. He said it hurt like hell.:no::no:

I vote for a big CR dinner meet when he is finally out of there with burn outs and lots of friends. He has missed out on a lot during the last few weeks. Including his birthday. Funny enough the first 2 questions he asked me where if I called his boss. And what about the CR track day.

From what I understand from the doctors, he will be moved to an actual hospital bed once he leaves ICU.. Doesn't sound like this will be super soon yet. From there he will go to a place to get therapy to rebuild his muscles and try to get back to normal. He is very strong willed though so its hard to say what will happen once he wakes up fully. He was powering through all of the sedation yesterday and more awake. The last few days he had a lot of agitation. Yesterday he was more relaxed and though he was still very much out of it, he was responding to questions with a nod without becoming super anxious.

I believe so, they tried something twice but it was not helping and causing pulse and BP issues.

50 and 12 peep. Showing 93%. He is on versed and fentanyl.
-
He was pretty sedated when i got here today. Which sucks but... Fever is down, ranging between normal and 99.7. Oxygen requirements are lower. They are going to lower his sedation meds again today. I am hoping he stays calm so we can keep moving forward.

Still "stable". Still running fever. They checked him yesterday for a secondary infection. We are waiting on the results of that. He is still medicated and asleep. This isn't going to be quick, unfortunately. They are saying he could be in ICU for another week or two provided everything goes right. Then recovery is going to take quite a while. They are talking about putting a breathing tube in his neck and removing the one in his mouth. He is still requiring a lot of oxygen and they are nearing the max time they keep the other tube in... plus it will be a little easier on him when they wake him up too.

It is looking like it will be a while before the possibility of visitors. I appreciate all of the well wishes. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
