  1. 2005 CBR600RR 22k miles, valid title -- 4500$

It has around 20,000sh street miles, oil changed every 4k.

The bike has been down at the track but only has minor cosmetic flaws (on the track plastics). Street plastics are great condition. Subframe is slightly tweaked as well as the fairing stay, but neither of those need to be replaced unless it bothers you that much.

I changed the fork oil & seals and put in stiffer springs for my weight (175 lb), stock spring is still on the rear.

    Some of the goodies;

    -GPR stabilizer

    -Power commander 3

    -Two bro slip on exhaust

    -vortex clip ons

    -vortex rear sets

-GPA 211 tires with 5 track days on them.. Still plenty of street miles left on them.

The street bodywork is white, track bodywork is black in the photos.

I do have alot of my stock parts still; rearsets, stock exhaust, clip ons, extra windscreen, and maybe a few others. Also comes with the track plastics; I did fiberglass the bigger cracks back together and repainted over it.. It's not perfect but it works.

I'm selling the bike only to help pay off my student loans, so please don't bother trying to talk me down in price. If you have any questions, want to look at it, etc-- contact me at 419-961-7594 text or call. My name is Brent. And if you plan on riding it; I will need the cash in hand.

  2. Alright after reading a few threads on the forums I decided to give the 360 controller a try.. I like the fact it's challenging to even get out of pit lane lol.. Dunno if you ever tried MX simulator but it was the same way, took forever just to make it around the track without falling down.

  3. Just downloaded it and started toying around with the demo.. Using my old PS2 controller at the moment.. How do you have the lean setup? they have two different inputs, rider lean and i think bike lean.. I can't set up the right analog, have the l/r lean set up on left analog but only one side works as it only uses one of the axis..

  4. I haven't raced yet, plan on getting into it whenever the $$ allows.. But I rode quite a few trackdays this year and bumped up to Adv after 2 days in Int I believe. I felt I was ready to make the jump after riding in the twilight session and feeling confident that my lines were smooth and predictable.

I can think of 2 times where I was passed that it spooked me, one was up the inside in T12/13 whatever the left hander before the carrousel is, and once up the inside into the turn before thunder valley. They were both very clean passes, no contact, plenty of room, and both of those passes were from one of my good friends. I raced MX for a few years and had no problems bumping elbows, bars, whatever it may be.. But the first time I had a pass where someone went through the line that I was targeting, it spooked me. After those 2 initial inside passes I was fine with similar instances.

Even though it was my buddy that passed me, I wouldn't have been pissed off if some stranger put the same passing move on me. If you're in advanced you have to expect that kind of stuff to happen with the quicker pace. I was warned by a few friends before I bumped up. If I felt that I was a hazard to other riders I would have bumped back down to Int, no ego involved. Maybe the dude you were passing just likes that safety bubble with no one around his line, in that case he needs to just suck it up or get faster :p.. You just have to run your lines, not worry about what's behind you, and just not be a dick. ..And possibly have fun too.

But also you have to relax. If you're running wide or can't get into the corner, you're probably just riding "tight," muscles tensed and looking too close instead of out in front of you.

This. After my lowside it took me a good 2 trackdays to get my confidence back in my front end.. I swear it felt like every wiggle in my front end I thought I was going to go down and was running the shittiest lines because of that.. My body position wasn't as far off as it usually was and I was gripping the bars way too hard.. So maybe take note of how your body position is mid session and if you're staying loose. I was also looking down way too much instead of looking up and ahead. Just fixing those 3 things made a huge difference by the end of the day, and I started to push a bit more.

  6. It's definitely worth setting up your sag and trying to get your stuff dialed in regardless of what you have on there.. I have all the stock stuff on my CBR600rr, only thing I did was throw stiffer springs in the forks to match my weight--and I'm running 39's on a good session at mid-o. I'm still trying to get used to 'feeling' what the suspension is doing but getting the rebound and compression dialed in last time really helped with gaining confidence with my front end last time out there.

I remember setting up the sag last summer when I was only riding the street and even then what difference it made--take advantage of this!

  7. Looks good. A few thoughts to maybe help you on time. Grab an additional upshift between 8 and 9. Drive that next upshift up the hill under the bridge and grab a down shift before pitching it in to 11. Also, through Thunder, grab two upshifts. Downshift one into 13 (they call it 14) and the second downshift before the turn in for the carousel.

Then, grab one upshift between the carousel and the left hander on to the front straight. That allows you to drive hard without spinning, etc. You then will have enough rpm to grab another upshift on the front straight and a down shift going into 1. Then, grab another upshift between 1 and 2 to avoid redline and then a quick down before 2 and the other like you normally do before the turn in to the keyhole.

Good lines overall, but a few spots where I know you would gain with some different lines.

    Good job, though!

Thanks for the advice, definitely helps going out there with something new to try. The idea of downshifting into 11 has always sketched me for the single thought of my rear breaking loose but I'll experiment with it next time. Hopefully they do get something going with amateur racing.. I'd love to get started ..

And maybe I should change my name on here so no one is disappointed when I am not some hot broad named christy hahah.. Was good meeting a few of u guys
