  1. wow that was a HOT weekend! I would deff like to thanks all the corner workers! Worked from 8am-9+ PM. See you guys at the AMA races!

you talking about the ones downtown or at the track ?? :D

    a few notes

    1) track was amazing!

    2) My suit was absolutely soaked and I smelled horrible at the end of the day

    3) H2O --lots of it!!

    4) stepping into a shitter that was tipped over isn't too cool

    5) everyone was helpful as always and it was a fun day!

  2. 4800$

    2005 CBR600RR street/track bike for sale.

21k miles on it(all of those are street but maybe 800 or so on the track).

Oil has been changed every 4-5k miles along with the filter. Air filter also changed recently. I use Rotella synthetic T6.

    Extras that i have added;

-Galfer stainless steel braided brake lines on the front

-Carbone Lorraine SBK5 Front Brake Pads

    -Vortex rearsets

-Motofairings track bodywork (not exactly a 100% perfect fit but it has worked just fine)

    -Twobrothers slip on(not full exhaust)

-Powercommander 3 USB with map programmed

-Bridgestone Battlax 003 racing street tires. These only have ~ 300 street miles and 3 trackdays thus far. Plenty of life left on them.

    -GPR stabilizer

I am the second owner of the bike, the first guy had a low speed lowside on the street which did nothing but scratch up the fairings. I have since had the fairings repainted (not rattle canned either). The track bodywork (black) was lightly sprayed and has a few chips on the front and side where the paint was starting to pull up. I have quit riding on the street and am currently trying to find a straight track bike.

  3. This year i started having a problem with my left leg going numb at mid-o.. Always happens about 5 minutes before the end of a 20 min session.. I'll start to barely notice it with not being able to pick up my foot as good to downshift.. Then it progresses to can't pick my foot up at all which is scary as hell coming off the back straight. And eventually my whole leg feels asleep. I can't figure out exactly what it could be (back, hip, etc..) Everyone that I've ridden with says my body positioning is spot on, i do have vortex rears that are raised up and back as far as they'll go.. But I've never had an issue with those on the street (although I'm not hanging off like on the track) .. I would have a P.T. I work with check it out but it's hard to exactly troubleshoot something when the only time I have those symptoms is when out on the track! Have any of you had problems with this??

  4. Haha, I haven't had any quality track time since August 22nd . . and I wasn't even close then. Besides, who is going to get the photo? . . I bet I already know the answer to that. It will be nice to see Rusty back out there tho!

This guy here.. unless you're going out in intermediate.

  5. My first track day last year was in the wet.. Can sort of compare it to racing mx on some greasy clay dirt, it sucks. But it teaches you how to be smooth with the throttle and brakes. There was one guy out there on rain tires that was flying but the rest of us were crawling .. My 003s slid quite a bit.. I wouldn't let it scare ya.. The way I see it I'm not wasting 195$

Here is a vid from the last session of the day when the sun actually came out:

  6. I just had a friend paint my plastics for my 05 cbr and being that I'm signed up for mid-o in a few weeks--i'm paranoid that shit can happen and all that work will go to waste. Have many of you rode the street and had a set of race plastics to throw on for the weekend? As much as I would love to get a dedicated track bike, It's just not on the budget for this year.. I think overall it would be worth just taking the time to pull everything off and be safe than sorry if I do have a get off at the track. Thought I would get your guys' input before i order a set.
