From a build standpoint he used a decent motor, light weight frame that looks pretty solid and good suspension components. IT IS WORTH RIDING.

My apprenticeship was almost entirely on hand crank machines. I'm a wizard on a Bridgeport, gimme a print, a piece of stock and some tooling and I'll make anything you can draw. I studied cnc programming while at ntma, and was great at it but that was 12 yrs ago. My cnc skills are rusty at best. I still possess the mind of a machinist, I can still look at a print and devise how to carve that part out of a piece of material. When I worked in the cnc cells I didn't do any programming, just set up, prove the job and run it. If shit goes sour where I'm at over this whole thing I'll be ok, but I actually enjoy what I do for the most part right now.

Dude, it's worse than a bunch of old woman at church. These guys are either so miserable with their lives or bored with them that they just pump out rumors. Outlandish shit too. For instance, I took off yesterday, didn't feel like going in. Coincidentally that's when the coward printed all this shit out. I didn't start hearing about it till my buddies finished their last shift at midnight, but there were already rumors that I had met with the bargaining committee, had been fired, all kinds of bullshit. Now there are a few good guys where I work, but most of them are lazy, incompetent or both. And everyone has to be whispering behind everyone else's back, telling lies, spreading gossip....it's sad.

Aaannnnnd someone from work apparently found this thread, printed out some or all of it and passed it around work today...idk how much, I took today off. I'm hearing that people are not happy with me there...great. I hope the dick head that did it is reading this now and has the balls to come and tell me it was him...doubt it tho.

Got my barrel today...it's gorgeous. Went to my guy in kent to buy everything else but he no longer works out of his house during the week. Went to see him at his shop and ordered all my goodies. It's an hour drive so he's just going to call me back with shipping charges and I'll have it in a week, then I can build. A3 uppper, A2 stock, free float tube, probably a semi fancy muzzle brake, match trigger, no iron sights and a big fucking optic. Then it's time to grenade some gophers.

It's winter....

The berlin/Millersburg area has some decent roads around it, not all super great but it's pretty good riding if you just point it south and go. Plenty of hot tub cabins and lodges to stay at in the area and berlin is about as touristy as amish Country gets. Bagz sports bar on 39 in downtown mburg makes about the best pretzel bun bacon cheeseburger you could ask for.

Huge bouquet of flowers sticking up out of the saddlebag of my old 1100 shadow, 30 pack of beer on the rear luggage rack of my 750, 24 pack of beer on the tank of my xj, ooh, the top portion of a moonshine stil on the 750.....that's about it. I plan on piling camping stuff into and onto the bandit this year, I'll post pics for sure.

I'm starting to get discouraged. After the first 10 lbs flew off there has been almost no change. Diet is becoming harder to stick to. A buddy of mine on here is gonna start lifting with me next week, that should help.

Ok, whatever. Google 'future of gaming'. It's not just pop sci. Steam boxes and cloud gaming will make consoles obsolete if the industry doesn't adapt in a hurry...and with consoles being developed and then mothballed for years before being released, that doesn't look very likely. Why do you think the new Xbox always comes out at the exact same time as the new playstation? It's not a coincidence. It's the equivalent of corporate drag racing, and while Sony and Microsoft are staging at the tree, EA, rock star and all the other studios have to wait for the race to start before they can cash their checks. Once an alternative is made available to the major game studios that allows them to publish the new games as soon as the new playing technology is available, the market will shift.

And that's why we keep a creepy Korean guy around the place...

You'd be surprised. I've had more than a few...maybe some were just fucking around to see if I'd run them but more than a couple actually thought they could take my Jap crap. Had a guy on an old amf shovel try and race me on my 72 cb 750 once and he was super pissed that he lost. Had a buddy who thought his iron head spotster was hot shit till I whipped him on my tl...Also had a guy on one of those hideous big dog choppers try and race me on my old fzr600. He made lots of noise, got the jump but once I came up on 6k rpm I passed him. Happens more than you think.

Ok...but I'm telling you, these will be the last consoles. Gaming will shift to portable tablets and the like soon enough....at least that's the forecast from popular science. It's already in development.
